I went out this morning, sat up along a fieldline, used a rabbit decoy and distreesed rabbit call. Within 10 minutes I had a song dog come in. 326 yards with my savage model 11 .243.!

Sounds like they already ran out of deer season scraps if you got a response that quickly

Actually I also used guts from the doe i harvested yesterday at 100 yards in the muzzloader season. and that was the direction it was going

yesterday when I killed my doe it was already in the field so I gutted it there, when I came back this morning there were two coyotes already there. They saw me before I saw them

What kind of field was it? A crop field for corn or soy beans? When I spot coyotes in crop fields like that and they see me they never really run unless I am getting to close to them, like with in 100 yards or so.

It was in a biologic clover field mostly

There has been a total of 4 deer taken from that field this year, its on the family farm.

.22-250 or if i feel like making a mess at terminal range .300 win mag.

Thats the best thing about the 22-250 is that it dont make a mess out of what you are shooting and all of the other rifles that will reach out far enough to touch them at them extended range shots are bigger calibers and its like throwing an explosive at the exit of the bullet

I love mine but I forget what model it is and dont have it with me right now, I just know it is a Remington with a bull barrel on it. I think the bull barrel is a have to have because if you dont get it you should replace the barrel after about 200 shots on my understanding of them barrels.

Naaahhhh...whoever told you that? If that's the case mines about 8x over the limit and my rifleings are perfect.
