Not according to Bobbyk's post. In 14 Eastern played Piketon and last year they played Waverly. This would be the 3rd year and they cant play anybody but Western.

Correct, but they all recently agreed to rotate it.

I know it should be a good one this year. We have 3 teams at this point with 1 loss(Eastern,Waverly,Western) with 2 of the 3 loses coming to Oak Hill.

Shaping up to be a real nice tournament this year. Hope everyone notices all the improvements that have been made to the gym. Everything from a new scoreboards, to new lights (badly needed) and doors and many others. Parking is vastly improved also. (all paved and lined)

Hear we will be getting a new floor in our downtown gym next year! This is one of if not the nicest basketball facilities in southern Ohio.

Several others improvement and projects are planned over the next couple of years that will benefit several other Tiger sports teams, both girls and boys. We are fortunate to have a school board and administration that understands the importance of high school sports and all extracurricular activities. Numerous benefits to students, athletes and community.

Sophomore Cobe Marquez played a well of a game and never scored a point. He did all the other tangibles.

This Waverly team is very dangerous when they get out and run, Piketon just couldn't keep up.

Sounds like the games were exciting and as always provided the fans of Pike County with some quality and competitive games to enjoy. I am not surprised at the results and figured the Western / Eastern game was a toss up.

Can anyone provide some game stats or a better breakdown of how the teams played? Did Western lead from start to finish or was it a back and forth game? I see Waverly had a well balanced offensive attack and had three players in double figures.

The conference match-ups between Eastern and Western will be fun to watch and more than likely be a slug fest.

The Western / Waverly game should be a dandy to decide what part of the county the championship trophy will call home for the next year.

Hopefully the Eagles will bounce back and be able to come away from the tourney with a victory.
