Cobbtown would rather have a one man show in eastern, than a two man show in Peebles? Thats hard to explain. Its simple to contain a one dimensional player.

I never said that Eastern is a "one man show", those are your words.

I said "best player" and best players can usually carry a team that has a good supporting cast. I think you'll see that Eastern has a pretty good supporting cast.

BTW, it's just my pre season prediction. What's yours?

Fairfield over Peebles 37-33. Not much stock can be put in this result. Peebles was up by three and subbed in the bench players at the end of the game. Neither team really showed much in this one. Depth could be Peebles' biggest problem all season. Against a strong D3 squad they can play maybe 6. Stone Crothers impressed me tonight for the Indians. His speed and defensive ability could have been used last year. Williams and Hildebrant looked good for Fairfield.

What an absolutely monumental necropsy of this night's happenings! Spoken like a true kook. I cannot fathom how true followers of this beloved game could place any relevance into this tommyrot.
