I say we just go ahead and move the Athens vs Warren game to the Convo so everyone can watch it.

;)
That makes it about 3,000 YES votes for Washington County. ;-)

I think NOT! The Warrior faithful, the kids and the community deserve this game to be in The Warrior Dome. We beat you at THE MAC and THE CONVO! Our kids have played lots of huge games on the road. This will be the biggest game at Warren since 2012 when Ward/Hastie/Knost & Company knocked off Chilli in what I believe was Senior Night.
Yea this game needs to stay right where it's scheduled. On St Rt #339 Washington County.

I think it looks like Logan Elm is playing a tough schedule as well.

I don't know if its as tough as Athens' though ... or Warren even.

The Bulldogs will have played by seasons end:

North Miami, Florida
Bishop Eustace Prep Academy, New Jersey
Shawnee, New Jersey
Akron SVSM
Lucasville Valley
Warren
Propel School, Pennsylvania
Ironton
Logan Elm
Circleville
Vinton County
Vinton County

12-out-of-22 games will, at the very least, be considered above average opponents.

Teays Valley x2
Bloom Carroll x2
Zane Trace

I'm not saying Logan Elms is better but I'm not buying this well Warren and Athens play a tough schedule so they should higher seed then Logan Elm. LE plays a tough schedule to and beat Athens.

Agreed. It's almost like their win against Athens is trying to be ignored.

Not ignoring the win BUT that win will not be the total consideration when determining the #1 seed. Just like the NCAA seeding committee views wins in December differently than wins late Jan or Feb. Total body of work, current level of play and SOS(strength of schedule) are All factors.

It don't matter because either way one of the schools will have to play Logan Elm in sectionals regardless.

It's going to be tough to jump a 19-1 team who's loss is to a big out of state school. Now, they obviously have a ton of work to do to get there, but their road game against Bloom is after the draw and they host in the rest of their tough games.

Athens/Warren winner will have a shot, but only if they take care of business from here on out. I'm not sure why it's a guarantee that the MVL schools will put LE away from the 1? I get why Marietta would, but I could see New Lex and Sheridan being wild cards.

No matter what, it's going to be interesting.

Not if they are the 1

Lots of speculation and that's great. However to say LE, Warren and Athens are a lock for the 1.2 & 3 seeds is premature. Upsets are always part of the equation. At the end of the day you gotta beat everybody.
Seeding is difficult because it's pure speculation. It's easy to distinguish 1 from 9 not so easy to distinguish 2 from 4. Most times it's about the eye test. Does a team win? Do they look good doing it? How strong are their opponents? All this falling into place at the right time! Not an exact science 4sure but it will sure give us all plenty to speculate and discuss.

After hearing a season of talk about the top three and the "lucky" top seed getting to play Vinton County in a probable sectional championship, I'm sure VC is going to take offense at that with the type of proud program they have. If I'm Athens and do get the top seed, having to play VC for a third time would give me a bit of pause, as well.

Sheridan, Marietta and Meigs will be in the hunt with Vinton for those next tier seeds. This season harkins back to 2010 when there were several teams coming out of the Logan Sectional that had the talent to win a district championship. Wasn't #1 seed Athens knocked off by my Warriors? Last season both Athens District Champions came from the Logan sectional. I look for the 2 teams that advance from the Southeastern sectional to more than be ready to rumble. Will be a war!

Rumble Young Man Rumble! - Bundini Brown talking about Muhammad Ali

With the Columbus District Winner coming to Athens for the regional(Bishop Watterson) whoever wins this district better be field tested and battle ready.

We don't know it will be Watterson, Warriorblue ... I believe the central will have 4 DII district champions, 1 will be sent to each region in the state ... that's what they have done in the past anyways.

How they decide which team goes where is beyond me though.

Central does super sectionals. They rank all the teams then 1 by 1 the teams pick where they wanna go. Judging by how bad Bishop Waterson beat Warren I would not be surprised if they pick Athens.

Watterson will be coming down this way, you can bet on it. Central has two district champions.

Updated records for this monster sectional. The Warren/Athens winner could slip into that #1 spot if Logan Elm doesn't stay perfect provided the Warren/Athens winner does. Gonna be some fantastic games coming down the stretch.

DII Logan Sectional

1. Logan Elm (12-1)
2. Warren Local (8-3
3. Athens (9-3)
4. Sheridan (7-3)
5. Meigs (5-3)
6. Marietta (4-4)
7. Vinton County (3-4)
8. Fairfield Union (5-5)
9. New Lex (2-6)
