6 for 17 3s 35%
9 for 16 foul shots 56%
23 defensive rebounds
15 offensive rebounds
38 total rebounds
16 turnovers
Fort Frye
16 for 57 field goals 28%
9 for 32 3s 28%
14 for 24 foul shots 58%
14 defensive rebounds
7 offensive rebounds
21 total rebounds
13 turnovers
Good rebound win for the Warriors. The 2nd half Warren took the game over with Patton back on the floor scoring 13 of his 17 points. French also had a good 2nd half but really got the team and himself going with that 2 handed DUNK to start the game. The Warriors were 10 of 17 from the field in the 3rd and 9 for 13 in the 4th add the rebounding and you can see why they won this game. To much size and bench. Hats off to Fort Frye they played hard and made a game of it and I am looking for the rematch but this was not a PVC team they played tonight. That will get some folks started.

First wanna say hats off to the Fort Frye community of the beautiful renovations of the gym. It looked spectacular!
Great night of basketball in Washington County as the fans were treated to 2 great games. The JV contest was a hard fought affair that wasn't settled till the final seconds.
The Varsity games was hotly contested. Lots of contact and physical play which played in Warren's favor. Lot better rhythm to the Warrior offense. Hall & Patton were nice in the 2 man game with several nice plays. With their size that's a hard combo to guard in isolation when your team is already faced with the task of trying to slow down Evan French.
I thought Fort Frye was hitting the 3 ball, they were gonna keep it close. A cold stretch allowed Warren to stretch out to a double digit win.
GO BIG BAD BLUE!

As a Fort Frye fan, I'm pretty tired of this narrative. It looks to me like the difference between these schools is Warren's obvious commitment to athleticism. If Fort Frye is really serious about competing comsistently outside of The PVC, they need to make that commitment as well.WarriorBlue wrote:The Varsity games was hotly contested.
