West had three or four drives into the redzone that were not stopped by Waverly but by West fumble or mistakes by West. Waverly has size and athletic ability but I think Minford wins by several touchdowns.

Hopefully Minford will come into this game focused and ready to take care of business. If not, the young Tigers won't just lay down and they are capable if the Falcons leave a window of opportunity open.
Not a chance Minford doesn't respond well in this game. The Falcons by 28

I agree. Minford has size up front similar to Waverly.Minford should handle them by 3 touchdowns. West was so much smaller up front and still drove down the field over and over. West just shot themselves in the foot a bunch. Good Luck Falcons!

Waverly did some good things against west last week, we are just young and inexperienced in certain positions that kills us. Just go out play hard and have fun.

Lets just hope the coaches all get on the same page for Minford, bickering amongst their selves will not get them anywhere. All Minford can do is move forward cant dwell on last weeks loss to the Burg . They need to Come together as a team and win stop blaming each other for mistakes and move on go out have fun and win. 2 games left finish big .

It looked like minford was on an upward trend. But with a little success comes expectations. A couple early exits from the playoffs and a fairly mediocre year when big things are expected will bring the boo birds out. Daniel s has done a good job but they may be looking at a couple lean years.

Waverly surprised me. They may give minford a game. West played bad and uninspired. That kept Waverly in the game. But they have some talent and a lot of size. How many seniors and what positions do they play?

a couple lean years what are you talking about? they have lost 5 games in the last three years at the jr high level that's 7th and 8th both I know its jr high but still. there is a huge talent pool coming up for Minford so im confused with your statement.

Remember to tune in to Fox Sports Ohio at 7pm: Bishop Fenwick Falcons (12) vs. Kettering Alter Knights (1), both are Region 14. Minford could be looking at Kettering Alter 1st round if they win out.

I'm sure the coaches have questioned themselves a bit this season but to go as far as arguing among each other is doubtful.

No disrespect meant. It's just an Opinion. But Minford is losing a ton this year. Losing that much will take at least a year to rebuild. That's just the way it works. Problem for Minford is the league may be as tough this year as it's been in years with the two teams at the top. Good thing is next year won't be near as tough.

Minford looked very flat and not much emotion. But a win is a win.

Absolutely, especially in week 9. Now the real fun begins with the backyard brawl on the horizon! Take the win and move on Falcons! Good luck!

Because Minford didn't beat Waverly bad it must have been something to do with Minford being flat or didn't play well. Couldn't have been the effort given by the Tigers. Heard the same thing a week ago from West. Waverly is a few plays away and several injured players away from being 6-3 this year. Even with all the injuries the Tigers have been in all those games with the exception of Jackson, Burg and Valley.
Minford, be glad with escaping the jungle with the win and know you were in a battle against some Tigers with heart. Waverly may not be winning these close games but they are giving it everything they have and leaving it on the field. In most games they are overmatched and outmanned but like I said, they are right there at a possible 6-3 mark. We won't settle for a moral victory next year.
