Burg's draw looks pretty good to me on the d3 side.

I'm in favor of going to one bracket and picking where you go on it. I also believe it would promote more competitive schedules. You can't run up a good record playing slouches, because someone can pick you out to play.

I don't believe seeding is based totally on a team's record. It is my understanding that a team's strength of schedule is also considered as part of the seeding process. Please correct me if I am wrong.

I wish that were the case but too many coach's fall for strictly the W-L record ... the examples could be endless . Last year East as a 2 seed strikes out 17 times against 10 seed White Oak .. east had 20 wins . White oak was showing 2-14 . Who you play matters . Crooksville plays a bunch of D-2's and comes in with a lesser record than the SOC 1's nearly every year but has to tolerate being a lower seed even though they would have 10-12 or so wins playing in the SOC1 . Thats why I plead for us to play to the toughest out of conference schedule possible. it gets you ready for tourney time.

ironman, Wellston did that to themselves. Perdue voted both Meigs and Oakhill ahead of Alexander. Alex beat the Oaks 18-3 during the regular season. You ever heard of Karma?

It's the D1 Central district but Chillicothe was seeded 15th of 42 teams and plays at home vs Dublin Jerome on Tues May 14th at 5:30. Best of luck to Chilli in the Central District

At the end of the day it really doesnt matter who is voted where because the best will end up playing the best and if you are prepared enough and a little luck you will be there in the end. Good luck to all!!!!

I get what you are saying.....but he's just 1 of many coaches. He also voted Burg #1

Someone I know and have coached against said that Wellston's coach did not vote Oak Hill over Alex.

I sit here thinking Alexander is one of those match ups that are tourney tough....I believe Meigs and Alex split with Meigs winning the most recent matchup....Meigs have a better record?

Any of this incorrect?

Jackson is playing some very solid softball here lately, I think we are going to continue to play solid softball through the tournament. Great win tonight

Congrats to Whiteoak and congrats to Kiley on her 500th career strikeout! (Soph)
