Federal Hocking @ Athens
Re: Federal Hocking @ Athens
Apparently you’re supposed to play 30 barnburners and nothing less. Even Alabama plays an FCS school. If Athens wants a “walk in the park” then let them have it. Games like that are good for a team to get a breather late in the year

You are a fool, need me to go back and find the dozen or so times I’ve stated on other threads that Athens would get on a roll the 2nd half of the season? The number of times I said they’d end with a winning record.VisionQuest wrote: Sun Feb 11, 2018 1:04 pm Barlow Trolling as usual. He can't say nice win and good job with 8 in a row now, 6 of those being on the road including VC, Logan Elm and Jackson. He has to be sarcastic because it was Fed Hock. Didn't hear a peep out of him when the Bulldogs beat VC at Valhalla, why not? Cause he is the biggest DB known to man.
Just like folks trashed me when I said that sheridan would get the #1 seed. Keep on trashing me for being correct. But I called this run in December.
Re: Federal Hocking @ Athens
I think what upsets people is that Athens “walk in the park” games should be in the Ohio Division. Other than VC, Athens should basically blow through their league with no problems bc they are so much bigger. Their non conference games should be where they schedule equal competition, which they did for the most part. I don’t think playing Fed Hock is going to help them out, but whatever floats their boat.

Just go crawl back under your Rock. Haven't seen or heard from you since Athens has been on their Winning streak. Looks like Warren and LE again in the Sectional. Who you got? Did you really say LE would win that game last year even though Warren was Loaded?thebarlowbandit wrote: Sun Feb 11, 2018 4:48 pmOMG, did someone just go there???? Waterford beat Fed Hock 45-39. Waterford and Belpre were also on Warren’s schedule. I guess Warren can join the Hocking next yearthebarlowbandit wrote: Sun Feb 11, 2018 4:48 pmOMG, did someone just go there???? I agree and also it is an in county game of bordering schools. In basketball this game is fine. If this was football it would deserve to be ridiculed.VisionQuest wrote: Sun Feb 11, 2018 3:18 pm Aren't Coach Cozart and Assistant Coach Bobo Fed Hock Alumni? Maybe this was done as a favor to Dunigan to help Fed Hock get ready for their Tournament run. I'm with PFloyd and don't see what the big deal is. Both Athens County teams and the place was pretty packed.
Re: Federal Hocking @ Athens
It's just strange to me, the Athens faithful want respect for their team and program, but say that this is a solid game to have on the schedule. Federal Hocking was the worst team in the SE District and possibly entire state last year.
I know the rest of the non conference schedule is okay to good, but intentionally scheduling a gimme that is 2 divisions below you is weak.

Re: Federal Hocking @ Athens
I'll lay off of Athens for scheduling this game for one reason, as long as it is part of a long standing series between the two schools. It is, right?
