After watching some film on Athens their QB has A LOT of speed. I would love to see a fairland W but I don’t see it. That QB is going to be hard to contain through the air and on the ground.

QB - speed? You must be thinking of Joey Moore, our backup/wildcat QB.

Clay Davis is about 6'1 220. He's more of a fullback than anything. I'm not saying he is slow, he has gained some quickness compared to last year. But lets just say I'm pretty confident he didn't steal a base during baseball season last spring.

Well that boy has some wheels on him. I seen several runs with the defenders having the angle on him and he’s turned the burners on and they didn’t come close.

Game maybe a shoot out and could be closer than some realize.
Fairland protects the ball and plays hard and hits harder they may pull the upset.
Though being only week 2 where teams are still identifying themselves don't know if it could be called a upset yet.

Is your starting QB a senior? Does No.14 share the position with Davis, or does he just play when the game is no longer in doubt?

QB Davis is a Senior. #14 starts at safety and plays WR. He is also the backup quarterback but does not play JV or in mop up time.

If true that is a misapplication of the rule. A late hit is a dead ball foul. If on 4th down that penalty will be assessed after the change of possession.
