Could have scored 100 pretty easily. I am not saying Green is a good at this point, but dang they can run the football. We will see I guess in the coming weeks how good they really are.

Find out more next week as the take on West union a team that's putting up big points but a team they lost to big last year. Haven't played anyone yet so they're taking care of the teams they should be beating.

They were taking a knee with 2 minutes to go in the second qtr trying to run the clock out. So no not running the score up. I don't think Wv has a running clock rule. Maybe 4th qtr only.

Green ran the ball the whole time. Coach newsome begged for a running clock and shortened quarters. The lady coaching Hannan said no we are playing the full game. He did everything he could to not run the score up.

Score was not ran up. Aside from walking out and taking a knee Green did everything they could to keep it down.

Subs were in by the third series and rotated through the night.
Green asked to do a running clock, They declined.
They kept coming out throwing non stop and stopping the clock by doing so.

But this was a game Green should have dominated. Two years ago Greens highschool and Jr High combined to beat them 126-0
Hats off to them though, they are some of the nicest people and love their football. Their fans cheered their team on till then end.

Greens first real test will be next week. One flaw Green has showed in the first two weeks is an ability to cover the pass. Last year West Union threw the ball all over them. Not sure what grade West Unions talented QB from last year was in but if he's back i expect this up be a high scoring game. Greens run game vs their air attack.

I'm pretty sure they didn't intentionally score that many points. I know from talking to some friends from WV they don't have a running clock rule until the 4th quarter unlike oh whose rule states that a team up 30 points and any point in the 2nd half.
