I am not sure of the exact numbers, but I trust Wiseman. I am going to see what our hudl page has for stats.

This all makes perfect sense
Camp North Star > Camp Mohawk
Re: Friday Night : Athens 77 Warren 65 a final
... and THIS is why I don't attempt to keep rebounds , shot attempts other than 3 pointers LOL ... it just seemed to me that Warren missed a heck of a lot of shots outside and inside ... bottom line is that Athens won this one on the up and up 77-65 ...
Re: Friday Night : Athens 77 Warren 65 a final
142 points in 32 min. If Warren made 24 2 point FG and 7 3 point FG and 10 free throws....79 points. Warren had 65. 17 2’s + 7 3’s = 24 FG...55 points + 10 free throws = 65. I know you know.pfloyd wrote: Sun Jan 19, 2020 9:33 pm... and THIS is why I don't attempt to keep rebounds , shot attempts other than 3 pointers LOL ... it just seemed to me that Warren missed a heck of a lot of shots outside and inside ... bottom line is that Athens won this one on the up and up 77-65 ...
32 min game would be tough to miss 89 field goal attempts while also scoring nearly 5 points per minute. Doesn’t add up. I know you know.
Re: Friday Night : Athens 77 Warren 65 a final
Hudl stats for Warren. Total FG 24-75, 2pt FG 17-44, 3pt FG 7-31, Reb 35
For the Bulldogs, Total FG 29-58, 2pt FG 27-46, 3pt FG 2-12 (and I'm going to guess, that 3pt % for this game is by far our lowest on the year), Reb 49
Factoring in the 11 total missed FT, this would bring the total misses to 91. With a total of 84 rebounds, and accounting for team rebounds as 93Bulldog alluded to, the rebound numbers are fairly spot on.
So PFloyd is right. This would put Warren at 32% FG. I'm not math smart enough to figure out what happened, but it seems like Messenger was within the margin of error on everything but FG%??

Re: Friday Night : Athens 77 Warren 65 a final
Right - Warren made 24 FGs (48 pts) plus 10 FTs for 58 points. Seven of those 24 FGs were 3-pointers, so add 7 single points = 65 (their real total). Which means those threes were definitely counted in the 24/51 (if the threes were additional, they’d have scored 79 points). Athens has 29 FGs for the game; their two threes were part of that.ShoeHorn wrote: Sun Jan 19, 2020 9:01 pmYou’re right, that is how it is done. Looks like whoever reported the stats just misreported the number of shots Warren took? The Marietta Times had Warren at 24/51 also.6-4-3=2o wrote: Sun Jan 19, 2020 9:46 pm Hudl stats for Warren. Total FG 24-75, 2pt FG 17-44, 3pt FG 7-31, Reb 35

Thanks for the numbers. 133 field goal attempts in 32 minutes sounds Paul Westphal fun and 34 turnovers mixed in. That’s one fast game.6-4-3=2o wrote: Sun Jan 19, 2020 9:46 pm Hudl stats for Warren. Total FG 24-75, 2pt FG 17-44, 3pt FG 7-31, Reb 35

No problem. Dogs definitely like to get up and down, and Warren had no issue reciprocating!Ironman92 wrote: Sun Jan 19, 2020 10:17 pmThanks for the numbers. 133 field goal attempts in 32 minutes sounds Paul Westphal fun and 34 turnovers mixed in. The only game we scored total like that the refs blew the whistle every 9 seconds and wasn’t as fun as it could’ve been?6-4-3=2o wrote: Sun Jan 19, 2020 10:24 pmNo problem. ... thanks 6-4-3+2o ... from watching the game, having the 3 point attps and makes, and SEEING all of the missed inside shots by Warren - the 47% fg numbers didn't add up to me BUT in the end the only numbers that have to be right are the numbers Athens 77 Warren 65 a final ... thanks for checking into it ! greatly appreciated - I'm old! but even I know what I see for 32 minutes of game time LOL6-4-3=2o wrote: Sun Jan 19, 2020 9:46 pm Hudl stats for Warren. You were definitely right, my man! It was actually a statistically weird game. I felt like the Dogs were in control the entire game. Need to clean up the TO's but Warren has a way of doing that to teams! I like where my Dogs are at!pfloyd wrote: Sun Jan 19, 2020 10:51 pm... thanks 6-4-3+2o ... from watching the game, having the 3 point attps and makes, and SEEING all of the missed inside shots by Warren - the 47% fg numbers didn't add up to me BUT in the end the only numbers that have to be right are the numbers Athens 77 Warren 65 a final ... thanks for checking into it ! greatly appreciated - I'm old! but even I know what I see for 32 minutes of game time LOL6-4-3=2o wrote: Sun Jan 19, 2020 9:46 pm Hudl stats for Warren. So, apparently those "danged Glouster refs" didn't have the game?
