It’s a shame how far OH has fallen off. I think it’s going to be a hard season for them to finish out with so few players.
How low are the numbers? I saw their XC/track girl is playing. She’s a senior and I’m not sure she even played biddee league, let alone junior high.
I’m going off information from other people I know, but supposedly they only have 8 girls total so not even enough for a JV team. And only 1 had played on the varsity level before this year, quite a few hadn’t even played jr high ball before.
Back in the summer, I heard about the same thing. Not sure if it was true or not, but there was even talk about possibly cancelling the season. Back even 3 or 4 seasons ago, they were only playing one half of a JV game because of low numbers.
