And possibly Pitt with QB Eli Holstein. The Alabama transfer has that indefinable "it" factor or knack of making the big play in the clutch. I don't think his surrounding cast is that great, but they are in a position to challenge in the ACC.

Sort of hard to believe that Ohio State didn't get one 1st place vote when they only lost by one to Oregon.

I think the pollsters have had the image of Ryan Day and the Chokeyes burned into their retinas since 2019. They are simply are not going to get the benefit of doubt in the media polls.

This year's OSU team has shown amazing moments where they perform at an elite level. Then there have been moments where the problems of the last 5 seasons show up. This team can win a national championship or be embarrassed by Indiana.
