oh jeez. Imagine being 14–15 years old and you’re getting screwed into being QB1 for a game where everyone on defense is faster than the ten you broke the huddle with… behind a line that couldn’t hold a cold dish with an oven mitt.SugarDaddy wrote: ↑Tue Sep 24, 2024 9:07 pmInteresting that the coach had NO players in senior or junior class prepared to play QB, starter or backup and had years to plan for this. Even more intriguing that an O was planned for one Soph and 2 freshmen to run, with their abilities well known. In case you wondered, that’s dripping sarcasm !

Stop ! This isn’t about the QB. It’s about managing your roster, prepared to replace your starter if he goes down. It’s also about evaluating what you run on O according to your QBs abilities Hell, if we can’t block one on one, should we double team at point of attack ?formerfcfan wrote: ↑Tue Sep 24, 2024 9:27 pmoh jeez. Do we have the players to run a Spread. Or do we lineup in Power Wing ? Maybe use finess instead of power ? Play action vs Pro Pass ? Do we use rule block vs zone schemes ?
Unless you just woke up 5 minutes ago, you have had years knowing that you faced a huge challenge. What did you do to prepare ? The program needs a complete evaluation…………… in my humble opinion………… kind sir ………..

to be clear, the point behind my post was to convey the futility of the current situation. The fact Logan is sourcing their QB position to a freshman now… goodness. A lot of outcomes can come from that; most aren’t pretty.SugarDaddy wrote: ↑Tue Sep 24, 2024 9:52 pmStop ! This isn’t about the QB. Also, now that I read this ^^paragraph^^ (that I just wrote)… yeah these prospects aren’t good. Can’t help but wonder if this will turn into a situation where the kids and parents actually have a little more realism and awareness than the coach.

We agree on the futility. Now, since years were available before the OCC, what did the coach do to manage his roster ( and No, one Soph and two Frosh isn’t an answer, no matter how good or poor they are).formerfcfan wrote: ↑Tue Sep 24, 2024 9:57 pmto be clear, the point behind my post was to convey the futility of the current situation. What planning went into the O system to be used, depending on player abilities ?
Asking for a Logan fan.
