I wonder if the ole legend- Reno remembers Burrow and the boys trying to break the record for most points scored by a visiting team at Harding Field? I'm rooting for Athens but the Big Red might just have a little more fire power.

Athens ran it up the middle multiple times to not get the record

Reno will not run the score up. It was mentioned why he went for two on occasions when up 28 or 29. That was to get to the running clock at the start of the 3rd. That way he could start out the 3rd Qtr with his 2's and 3's. Last weeks coach kept his starters in well in to the last three minutes of the game. (felt bad for the players that got no playing time in an atmosphere like Death Valley and Vs a storied team) Reno gets a lot of quality playing time for his 2/3's, builds great depth with experience. We have been dressing the Freshman as well since their season ended, I'd expect them to get playing time, possibly a final drive to close up Death Valley for the season.

Pero went 177 yards on the ground and a touchdown. Most came in the first half. Athens should be loaded for next year

Pero is a good back runs hard, north south runner with nice balance and he definitely finished his runs. Enjoyed watching him.
