End of 1st quarter.
Minford 7
West 0
West having all kinds of problems moving the ball. Only 37 yards on 17 carries.

Minford scores on a long TD pass and go up 14-0. Not looking good for the Senators.
Maybe they should have went ahead and played in the slop last night.

I am shocked. I really thought West would give Minford a decent game, but the Falcons are dominating in all aspects of the game. Looks like the Golden Football will be in Minford when it's all said and done.

Minford loaded up on the run the whole first half. West has got to go to the air off some play action to get back in it.

West scores to cut the lead to 20-6. They lined up to go for 2 which doesn't make sense since three scores and three XP's get you a 21-20 win. Instead they have a penalty that moves them back 5 yards and they end up missing the XP attempt. Strange call.

I believe Minford just sealed the deal with another TD pass from Oesch to Bryant and it's now 27-6 Minford. They caught West by surprise on 4th and 8 and went for the TD.

Unless Valley can pull off the upset it looks like the Falcons are in the drivers seat for the SOC II title.
Congrats to the Falcons on the big win.

I will take SLOAN over Wests back any day. Shankwiler is by far the best back in southern OHIO

I was up there for the 1st half.
Wasn't impressed with West at all. They seem to be big and. . . that's about it. They can't switch gears like Minford can.

Not very good feelings between Minford and Valley, that game has me concerned.
Re: SOC2 Minford (5-1) @ Portsmouth West (5-1)
Valley will give the Falcons a better game than West did; they do more on offense and from what I saw tonight, they have more athletes than West.
I'm telling you right now: Don't overlook the Indians. This is the best team they've had since the 2005 team, at least.

Don't let the West supporters hear you say that. You know Pendleton is the best Scioto county has ever seen. lol
Re: SOC2 Minford (5-1) @ Portsmouth West (5-1)
I couldn't believe the shallowness of the West play-calling.
