Final
Wheelersburg 45
Minford 13

Congrats to the Pirates on the huge win. This should help them get in the top 10 and maybe the top 8 of region 19.

I like my crow basted with a nice BBQ sauce. lol

I couldn't have been more wrong when I said I thought Minford would smack the Burg in the mouth. Just the opposite happened and the Pirates dominated from the opening drive.

This will put Burg in the top 8 in the Region. I guess the Burg seperated the pretender and contender tonight. I see 2 more losses for Minford.

Congrats to Burg. #7 played a heck of a game.

Minford was just embarassed in every aspect of the game. Totally different team and attitude from last week vs Oak Hill. Not much more to say. If the same team shows up next week, it will get ugly quick. Not much they did right tonight.

Good luck to the Pirates. Hopefully Minford can recover and pull it together. I have a crow feast to tend to.....

Congrats to my buddy #74 Tyler Brown and the entire O and D lines for the Burg tonight. Dominated the game from the opening drive.

Kinda surprised after watching the Falcons tonight. All I read all week was how fast they were, but other than Butcher, I didn't see much speed at all on the team.

Thought the O-Line was awsome, Big holes opened all night long for the runners. Great job Tyler #74 way to blow them off the line tonight.

Anyway, Minford was flat and got dominated tonight. Burg owned Minford in every aspect of the game tonight. Kudos to them, they played a great game. If Minford wants any shot at the playoffs, they better wake up because if they play like that for the rest of the year, they definitely will not make it. Some things need to change in a hurry before it gets ugly.

The whole Burg team played a dominating game. It wasn't like I thought where Schank would carry them, they all had a part, congrats to them. I will now eat my crow.

Hard to be fast when your hit in the backfield. Wheelersburg came out from the word Go and flat out beat Minford in every aspect of the game. This wasnt the same Burg team I watched all week on tape, they were not going to be denied tonight at Ed Miller. Congrats tonight on a well deserved victory.Minford looked like they were lost out there after Slone's punt was called back. This week is gut check time.

YeA congrats to wheelersburg.....they proved they were underrated. I honestly thought this would be the other way around... But I was wrong.... Shank is a great player, and so is the rest of the team. Minford needs to figure some things out fast , or this will be a long month for them. Can't say I'm hoping for a rematch like 08. But anything can happen. Good luck to both teams

Great, great win Burg! Still a couple of good
teams left on the schedule, but a message was sent: Burg is for real and they aren't scared of anyone...

Definately didn't see any fear in the Pirates at all tonight! Kept hearing people say all week that the Pirates were scared to hit anyone but they didn't look scared to me!

There isnt a thing to argue about. Wheelersburg took the game over quick and didn't let up one bit. Congrats to Burg from a Falcon. #7 was just a work horse and he showed leadership as he had his team ready to go from the start.

For Minford, It's one regular season game not the super bowl. I know the feeling of wanting to beat these guys I can say I never had the opportunity to celebrate a win from them. But tonight is tonight an come monday it should be Gut check time and Seniors your season is halfway over and it's going to be the end before you know it. No reason to let one loss take away your last given games. Tonight was just a Lack of leadership and it seemed like nobody was wanting to even be out there tonight. I'm proud to be a falcon fan an we will be behind you guys all the way.

Wheelersburg dominated Minford in every aspect of the game imaginable. I've never seen a team that has looked so good up till now get shut down like that. Minford was totally uprepared physically, mentally, and emotionally. Wheelersburg came out and ran the ball right down the defense's throat. For the first time this year the Falcons got smacked in the mouth and to be completely honest it just looked like they didn't want any part of it. They are going to have to get tough in a hurry. Minford was not ready for the intensity or pace of the game. Wheelersburg was by far the better team tonight not even close. The Falcons got beat up front on both sides of the ball, and then got beat everywhere else all over the field. To make matters worse, everyone knew that Schankweiler was the key to the game, and we didn't even come close to at least containing him. To be honest I'm pretty shocked right now. I would've have never guess we would get beat THAT bad. I thought we would win, worst case lose a close one, but good grief. The Falcons have 6 days to get whatever went wrong squared away or West and pendleton will run for 300 yards and put 70 points on the board.

On a side note, I must criticize some of the Minford "fans". It's just a shame to see that 2/3 of our fans absolutely quit on the team tonight. These boys are out there not only on Friday nights, but every day during the week putting countless hours into preparation. I know the score was not close but these "fans" owe the team more than that. The only thing more emberassing than looking at that score board was looking at the droves of "fans" leaving the game at the start of the 4th quarter. Now I know many of our fans are die hard fans and stayed until the end, but tonight they were unfortunately in the minority. When the going gets tough the team needs fan support more than ever. When the going got tough tonight I hope the team didn't look behind them because if they did all they saw were people leaving. I guess for some people, when the going gets tough, they get going to their cars.
