Ironton is at 153. They weren't in as much danger of dropping down like Burg was at 147. Heck, West got lucky to stay in D-V at 184.

Ironton has a great team this year. Can't see Burg winning this year.

Who did coldwater lose from last season. This could be a very young team.

Seems it don't matter who they lose they just reload they have a great football program from grade school and up.
One of the most disciplined teams I have seen very good at what they do.

The MAC has teams in Div 5,6 and 7 again this year. They might make it a repeat of last year in the state finals.

Looking at the roster I see they are not out of Homans. Those kids sure know how to play the game and most of them end up at The Ohio State. I talked with one of them at Ohio State Media Day a few years back and he was very complimentary on the players from down on our end of the State. I asked him why the kids from Coldwater were always so physical and he said they worked at it 24/7. He asked where I was from and I told him Ironton and his remark was"Why am I telling you, you already know what it takes". So it just goes to show we are not strangers to them either.
