Can't find the viewership #s right now, but far as I can find out, there are no plans to cancel it now.

That sucks that was a very good show. I say the biggest reason for that is the fact that Season 1 was i believe 7 eps and ended December 07. Then Season 2 began in October 08. Where viewers found a different show to latch onto.

It's a facta life that, no matter how good it is, that without VIEWERSHIP according to neilsen, it's gonna be yanked. PD was such a show.

ABC has cancelled Life On Mars. However, they plan to air the remaining eps already in the can, which should take it thru the month of March.

FX has cancelled Nip/Tuck. I dunno why; its ratings were good & it wasn't getting too expensive to make.

Rescue me seems healthy right now! I like it also! But things can change almost overnight...

CNN has cancelled D. L. Hughley Breaks The News, an often-homorous & irreverent look at various news stories. Part of the reason was his comparison to the GOP with nazis.

TBS has cancelled Frank TV, a comedy sketch starring Frank Caliendo, dueta poor Neilsens. About as funny as a flat tire, I doubt if it'll be missed much.

Remember the big fan push to CBS to keep Jericho on the air? its ratings were abysmal, so it was cancelled a 2nd time. The CW netlet tried re-running it; it never drew even a million viewers. this goes to show we're wasting our time trying to get a net to resurrect a cancelled show.

I'm saying this in preparation for the demise of Friday Night Lights. while it's an excellent show, it's most likely doomed cuz of low ratings. NBC has patiently stuck with it, even sharing it out with DirecTV, but its ratings have steadily slid. I'd say this is its last season, but most likely, the whole series will be available on DVD.

NBC has cancelled Celebrity Circus. No surprise here, as its ratings were very low.
