Best team in the TVC Ohio?

Gotgame,actually I' don't think I said a 20-0 JV season would translate into another TVC title, only that the players from that team should help the Vkings COMPETE for another title. I am well aware of the fact that with the number of underclassmen that play at the varsity level, JV records can be deceiving. I still think that Alexander may be the team to beat this year. I am glad for the chance to respond, however, because I can't believe I omitted Jake Prater's name from my original post. Big Jake will be a huge factor in any success the Vikings will have this year.

I think Alex is the favorite, but Vinton is champs until beaten. But this could be any body's race if teams don't show up to play.

I stand corrected. You're very right about Mr Prater. He's capable of making Vinton Co an awfully good basketball team.

gotta go with VC until someone else can step up and take home a title...look for Belpre and Alex to compete for 2nd...Meigs should be improved and may suprise some people...but I say the top 3 stay the same as they have been for a few years with VC, Belpre, and Alex up there.

As good as Vinton Co. was last year, Alexander has really stepped up their game throughout the summer playing nearly 50 games.

They will win the TVC Ohio outright for the 2008 Season
