Northwest got worked tonight..there is obviously still slot of work to do

also does someone know why that kid from valley started shoving on Luke Brown when he came out of the locker in the second half...scrawny little thing luke would have worked him over, im just not sure why he was trying to start something with him in the first place?

Congratualtions to the Valley Indians, Like I said earlier in this post, you guys have to feel pretty good about your season to this point and the SOC-II is no "given" this year. Good Luck through out the rest of the season and picking up your first SOC-II Title.

Someone once said, "These things in life that do not kill us only make us stronger". Maybe so, but I would like a couple of minutes with the guy who said that, just once. I have no comforting words to offer. It is obvious that this team constantly looks for answers each week during practice, yet finds none. Been there and done that. Waking up on Saturday morning after a trip to the "wood shed" by just about who ever we played, not a good feeling.

So here is your mission for the remainder of this season:

1.) Keep your heads up and listen to you Coaching Staff. You have great things yet to be accomplished this year.

2.) Use the next three games to get ready for week 10 at Waverly.

3.) Pay attention to the film, during these three games and take a lesson from a winning program. They did not get there by accident.

4.) This is the most difficult of all. Maintain a positive attitude in school. You will influence the younger kids that will decide "to play or not to play" next year. You know as well as I do, we lose alot of kids between junior high and varsity, as a matter of fact that is why there is no Freshman Football Team this year. Only you can stop "the bleeding". Support your Coaching Staff and fellow football players (including the junior high kids). Without this, the program will one day "be no more". Good Luck Friday Night. Play hard, pay attention and never stop looking for a way to win. GO MOHAWKS!!

Great post Kenraken!

Congrats to Valley on coming out ready to go last night... All my little cousins (#10, #9, #4, #23, #55) played well again and really make it enjoyable to watch.

Valley's offense seems to really be clicking right now and the defense has played with some great intensity. The season starts this Friday and the SOC looks to be wide open... I though Burg was head and shoulders above the rest of the confrence, but their loss really changes the confrence landscape. Keep playing hard, and bring that level of intensity every single week!
