Re: Portsmouth v Warrren at Warren
Leffingwell has played shook for last two weeks, once he gets his confidence back, Warren should be lighting it again. 4 Int's last week, 3 Int's tonight not many passing yards. Warren lived by the run with Mays tonight

Re: Portsmouth v Warrren at Warren
Someone explain to me why Portsmouth cannot score after halftime of any one of their games? This just amazes along with the fact that their defense has stunk for the last 3 years or more.
Re: Portsmouth v Warrren at Warren
I said if Portsmouth got beat by the Burg it would be a long season for them. Warren scoring 51 points is way to much.

Re: Portsmouth v Warrren at Warren
Congratulations to the Warriors on the win.........
For the 4th game in a row, TURNOVERS spelled doom for the Trojans.........Portsmouth has to be on a record pace for turnovers in a season.........in 4 games, I believe the total now is 20 or 21. In the near 40 years I have watched PHS football, I can never recall a team turning the ball over so much as the 2011 Trojans.........also, the Trojans jumped offsides 4 times in the first half, giving Warren better distance and down situations.
On a POSITIVE note, it was great to see several freshmen get action.........Darion Robinson scored a TD in the first half on a catch and run (HE IS FAST), Alex Dickerson had a catch and long run, and the Rideout kid (first name?) made some nice plays on defense.
Ronnie Truman had a nice INT return for a TD for Portsmouth in the first half.
Keep your heads up, Trojans, always work hard, never quit, and take care of the ball!!

trojandave, good point about the freshmen and underclassmen..if the juniors and seniors
can not, or will not, hold onto the ball let the youngens get beat up for a while and learn
on the fly..it appears that is season will have few if any wins, ergo, let the youth learn!
As stated way too may turnovers,,the practice seasions has to be having drills to hold onto
the ball..20 or 21 is a seasons worth..WOW..fido great point--halftime adjustments..I am not
there and not able to see games but from the posts all of you make it is pretty clear that
someone is not doing a whole lot at halftime...GoTrojans...play your hearts out and if you
win you win and if not learn from the leasons....TICK---TICK---TICK---TICK

Yes but in Ptowns case it is very apparent. No halftime adjustments, which is what coaching is all about!!!!

jumping off side time after time, after time. Gave Warren 1 and five som many time I lost count. Warren still has much work before saturday night and Jackson. They need to play strong on defense and have some loooooong offensive drives to keep the Ironmen "O" off the field.
