Marietta... 12 17 17 13 -- 59
Chace Harris makes two FTs with 27 sec left to tie it at 57. Marietta plays for a final shot and Zach Deskins makes a tough driving lay-up with 3.4 sec left and is fouled. Alex had no time outs left and the worst happens as the rebound from the missed FT goes into the deep corner where Alex gets it goes down the floor and takes a shot just before the buzzer just across half court. Looked to me like the shooter was definitely hit hard by a trailing defender on the play as he cut hard to the right from the left sideline and a foul for 3 FTs should have been called, but no call, giving Marietta a sweep of the two games this season.

Great win Trojans! Coleman was hard to stop for Burg . I think he had 39 but the Trojans had balanced scoring as several players were in double figures. Nice crowd at this game.Madness wrote:Portsmouth 77

At one point Piketon was up almost 30 and the bench played the whole 4th quarter.

The big Horton kid still out sick? Also did McCarty didn't play because he broke his foot. Those two starters make a big difference for West Union.Hoopie74 wrote:Thanks.smith.hill.royalty wrote:Piketon 64Hoopie74 wrote:Did Piketon play West Union tonight? Scores?

I agree they'd make a difference but not enough to close that gap. Seen them play when they had both playing.Hoopie74 wrote:The big Horton kid still out sick?
