I'm not a basketball guy and do not claim to be.Good game to watch last night,but can't figure out when you only call10 fouls on both teams for the game,how one player GET'S 5.If Carnahan isn't voted P.O.Y. in TVC Hocking,they should do away with the award.Good game EAGLES and good luck N.D.

Voting for POY was done at tournament seeding and was based off the regular season. IMO Hoffman from Belpre should win it but don't be surprised if someone from Fed wins it.

Congrats to ND. Sounded ugly on the radio, but a win is a win.

This was a frustrating game to watch from an eagle fan's perspective. Lots of reasons Eastern lost:
TURNOVERS
Missed free throws
Backside Rebounding
Decision Making (inbounds passes and bad fouls)
Turnovers
Turnovers
Turnovers
I'm not a genius when it comes to coaching, but we only had three team fouls at the end of the first half. We allowed ND to run off about a minute, then drive to the basket for a last second layup. Plenty of fouls to give!

Any of those go the other way, we win

Nobody from the Hocking really stepped up down the stretch to stake claim to the award ... my money is on Carnahan to win it - just based on the fact that he might be the best player in the league.

BTW ... I'm usually correct on these things - so go ahead and take it to the bank.

It was a missed free throw, not multiple. Eastern only shot 4 on the night, all by Pullins, and the one miss was the front end of a one and one with 50 sec left, that he avenged 12 sec later by making both ends of an even more pressure one and one.

What a fantastic finish to an ugly game...Eastern-Meigs was no joke and Carnahan is a heck of a player.

This is the 1st District Final ND has reached since 1973 (last district title)....and with this 20th win, have set the all-time victories in a single season (previous was 19--set last year)

However, our work is not done! We have a tall test Saturday night (pun-intended) vs East. Should be a great crowd and atmosphere for this rivalry game. Go ND!
