Don't know if Waverly and Crooksville records are up to date.
Meigs is not in this division. They are D2. You left Oak Hill off your list.

My mistake spartanfan. The last update I see for Oak Hill is 12-6. They beat Wheelersburg Friday night to make them 13-6.

I personally think Fairland, Coal, Grove , and Ironton are better then Oak Hill, but I am sure NORM will call all coaches and tell them how they are to vote and he will be voted in as the 3. LOL. Then he will call the AD's and tell them what he thinks of them and they will let the coaches know how to vote. LOL!

You can't be serious. You might want to take a look at whatever schedule your looking at again.

Looks good to me.Alexander beat the Oaks Earlier in the year with a shot at the buzzer. They are deserving of #2.

WOW! That is impressive to Say the Least!!

Might Check the River Valley Record. So they have beaten 3 teams with a winning record.

Ironton has beaten Portsmouth, Fairland, and Coal Grove, Along with a much better schedule.
Fairland has beaten Cabell Midland, John Hay, Huntington St. Joe, Coal Grove. Again a much better schedule.
Each team with 5 Losses at the Buzzer! Wait maybe that was 6 losses at the Buzzer.
Not Sure the Minford Loss was at the Buzzer considering Minford Led for the entire game. Yes, Oak Hill had a shot at the buzzer but to no avail.

West Union, River Valley, and Portsmouth West would all lose to Ironton and Fairland.

But it will be determined on the floor. If Oak Hill is 3 seed they will have to play either Ironton, Fairland, or Coal Grove. If they are 4 seed same scenario. So good luck to them in tourney.

Just wandering what the records would be if your teams were in( Soc 2) .Have you played any of them. Don't know what game you were watching (Oak hill/Minford) oaks led the game for three qts. Those nine losses you have I'm sure were to teams with winning records. I guess we will see when the tournament starts.Hope the Oaks can avoid those powerhouse teams of yours!

Are you seriously comparing the SOC 2 to the OVC? SOC IS WAY DOWN THIS YEAR, anybody with a sain mind can see that.

Powerhouse? Never said anyone's a powerhouse, just stating my opinion on the draw and where I thought teams should be!
Sorry you are so sensitive :( :122249

Not sensitive .Just tired of you bashing Oaks all year. And whining about Norm. And I was still wandering if you played any (soc2) teams with a winning record. How did you do.

Using Pfloyds elite 8 rankings, and I would say most would agree this is a pretty good judge of ranking teams, I accumulated the following numbers. Using their ranking, adding all 8 teams together and finding their average.

SOC II, Minford 4, Valley 12, Oak Hill 14, Portsmouth West 31, Wheelersburg 41, Northwest 52, Waverly 53, South Webster 56 for a total of 263 and an average of 32.88.
OVC, Chesapeake 7, Portsmouth 10, Fairland 17, Ironton 29, Coal Grove 36, Rock Hill 61, South Point 66, for a total of 226 and an average of 32.29.

As you can see, both conferences are pretty equal, now I know you can argue a few points here and there, maybe Ironton with the new kids are going to rise in the rankings, but I dont think that would make the OVC that much better than the SOC. Of course, it is just my opinion! lol

My Bracket:

1-Chesapeake/Bye
8-River Valley/9-Nelsonville York

2-Ironton/15-Crooksville
7-Federal Hocking/10-Rock Hill

3-Alexander/14-South Point
6-Coal Grove/11-Waverly

4-Oak Hill/13-Belpre
5-Fairland/12-Wellston

I have seen both Ironton and Alexander play.

Some of this is to break up the conferences, so that the best teams in each won't face each other until the District level.

However the seedings really turns out, my guess would be for a long afternoon at the seeding meeting on Sunday.

River Valley is not in the OVC.

Last week, Rock Hill(#61) took Minford(#4) to OT at Minford. On Tuesday, Minford visits Chesapeake.
