I just read the article and one sentence summed up her relationship with the team:

"In a moment where most games would stop and a player would be recognized for their accomplishment after Alvelo broke the state career strikeout record, not one teammate came up to congratulate her."

I'm just an ole River Rat and certainly no lawyer, but if I was I would be bringing that article to court if I was prosecuting. For someone pleading not guilty, there is a lot of underlying admission of guilt. Even by her future college coach.
