Re: WK7 Logan @ Minford
Good job Logan for never quitting in a game that was close to being a running clock with 3 minutes left in the 3rd quarter.
Not really sure what else to say.

Ruby needs time , the system is being worked and developed from the peewee up, developing spread skills , etc. I still say you can occasionally go under center. Example - the 3rd and short in overtime.

Definitely the biggest deficit turned into victory in school history. Working on all the details for Craig Dunn.cbolt wrote: Fri Oct 06, 2017 10:08 pm Wow! When was the last time Logan came back from that far down? Locos?
Gutsy effort.

True. I agree. It takes time for kids to develop a solid understanding of this system.FalconFever02 wrote: Fri Oct 06, 2017 10:51 pm Ruby needs time , the system is being worked and developed from the peewee up, developing spread skills , etc. I still say you can occasionally go under center. I only caught updates on here for this game. How did it get from 28-7 to 35-35? Did Minford let up? What’s the deal on that?

A few key turnovers swung momentum. Minford also looked tired in the trenches.

I've never seen something like this in HS football. 2-points away from a running clock with :58 left in the 3rd and then it was, "The meltdown in Minford!"
Minford was up 35-7 with :58 left in the 3rd quarter, got gassed, then got sloppy. Minford couldn't control the line of scrimmage b/c the strength just isn't there, got beat in every phase of the game in the 4th, and lost it in the 2OT. Unbelievable!
