Hey if you're going to steal one of my quotes at least act like you have some sense about you. NY has two great things going for them. First, their head coach has a great name, and second their head coach is a Tomcat. Throw in the fact that he was groomed by the best coach in SE Ohio and it spells a long night for Slim Shadyside. First the beat down in the game, and then a long dismal ride back home.

It doesn't make any sense for both to cover one game when we have 2 county teams in the playoffs.

In fact, most of the other schools in the playoffs for this region would be new opponents for NY. The Buckeyes have played Coal Grove and Fort Frye a handful of times each. They have never played the other five schools.

Until this season, Ironton was the only school NY ever played with a team name of Tigers. This season alone has added Waverly and now Shadyside to that list.

Kids are focused and hungry. They know it's 1 and done time. Each week is a new season.

Linsly Academy was awesome this year went (9-1) and Shadyside took them to last play. Shadyside had the ball at the 18 down 7.

It's called Linsly School, but its season isn't over. They have 1 game left with Kiski Prep (PA) this week so they can go 10-1.
