Re: Scrimmages
Whiteoak/Southeastern/South Gallia scrimmaged at Southeastern
Whiteoak was 5-1, I believe Southeastern was 4-2 and South Gallia 0-6
First time through Southeastern handled Whiteoak 17-6 and beat South Gallia about the same.
Second time through Whiteoak upped defensive effort and beat Southeastern 7-6 and then beat South Gallia. Ruby was out that first part but when he came in it was 4-4 and Whiteoak still prevailed.
Third go around Whiteoak beat Southeastern 12-9 and then beat SG 15-11.
SE seemed to lose some intensity after the first time through. Ruby is excellent and had two nice wing players. Whiteoak was led by Traeton Hamilton who was the best overall player IMO...great slashing scorer. Small forward Trever Yeager and power forward Zach Rand did some real good things as well.
A very good scrimmage for Whiteoak...lacked intensity early but then gave good effort and won out. Whiteoak not a lot of depth but 8 players in the rotation and an older JV team.

Lancers won 3 of 5 quarters vs PND and looked very good. Last week vs Glenwood the Lancers had 2 bad quarters but played well the other 3 winning 2 of 5. Saturday they were at Huntington and led both 20 min half's by 6 or 7 but with a ton of silly turnovers lost both by like 5. Fed's JV team has played very well so far. They won all 5 at ND and won the most quarters vs Glenwood and won both at Huntington.

Yes. Jackson scrimmaged Nelsonville and Circleville this past Saturday. Jackson won all quarters. Circleville and Nelsonville split a few. Kids played hard but will definitely feel the effect of a deep playoff run for a little while. Ironmen head to Warren tomorrow.
Re: Scrimmages
I would have to imaging that's the case. Hoping it's competitive. Sometimes it's difficult to find time between yelling at my son and at the officials but I'll try to send qtr updates for anyone interested.

Ironmen won 2, lost 1, and tied the first against Warren today. Both teams pretty well handled Fairfield Ch. Head to Licking Valley Friday.
Re: Scrimmages
Sounded like Jackson did very well at Warren Local scrimmage. Beat Warren 2 of 3 qtrs by total of 9 points and beat Fairfield Christian by about 20

That sounds very familiar. Yelling at my son and the officials.

Re: Scrimmages
Yes. They did well. Just got home from the Licking Valley, Harvest Prep scrimmage. Ironmen played very well tonight. Went 1 and 2 vs Harvest Prep. With our starters both games were within 2 points. Both teams handled Licking Valley as well. Have one more scrimmage then it's game time!
