Is there any way you can get an update from one of the techs?

I 'll try calling one of them and see what happens .

Let me know something as soon as possible. The longer this drags out and them not telling us a channel leads me to believe we aren't getting it.

Ok, I just got off the phone with Craycraft over there and he is assuring me that they are working on it as we speak . He couldn't give a time line , just that the goal is 24 hours prior to kickoff of Saturday's games .

edit I should add that he also said that it would be live long before anything updates such as the community channel ( the one that tells you what channel is what and what is coming on etc......) So the best thing is to keep checking the stations I guess .

So what you are saying is that it should be on the air by noon tomorrrow? And he still doesn't know a channel?

I also just got off the phone with a guy from the Time Warner sales team about 45 minutes ago and he said that it would hit the air anywhere from channel 2 to 80 and assured me that we would have it sometime tomorrow evening. I think things are sounding good now.

huedawg, who in the world is craycraft? Is he a Time Warner employee, and are you confident enough to say that we are for sure getting it in our lineup.

Here in Meigs County we get our Time Warner through Beverly and we now have Big Ten on channel 59.

I think the best sure answer we can get is if huedawgs connection tells him the channel number. huedawg if you could, find out something as soon as you can.

He couldn't specify a channel number today , only thats its going to take place . I'll keep this updated if I hear of anything different .
Looks like it will be Channel 75

Where did you hear this from ? You may be right, but who knows . I was told today it would be below 70 but I am sure nothing is carved in stone .

Hey pleasanttiger,
I'm sure I will have a channel number by tomorrow evening and those cold pops will taste good before and after the Ironton game.

huedawg,

If you could today find out a channel for us through your connections. They would have to give you an answer today cosidering its going to hit the air today. If they tell us today they still don't know a number then something isn't going right in my opinion.

Some guy from Time Warner told me it would be added on channel 77 in Ironton, but he just acted like to me he was taking a wild guess, he did say we would get it somewhere on basic cable for sure, but 77 was his guess. I'm starting to wonder if they just don't know what they are talking about.

For whats its worth , this is from Time Warner
Time Warner Cable - Ironton

The Product Information Network will move from cable channel 75 to cable channel 76, effective September 30th, 2008.

That said, it appears as though they are cleaning up channel 75 for something . Ozzie may be right on this one
