Team from this region in D6 and old D5 expansion has won in the final 4 since Amanda Clearcreek in 2004.

I like Springfield in this game. Cadets are in over their heads against Brungard, who is a machine. World of difference in schedules too. Cadets are 3 scores underdogs.

I'll take a team over a player anytime.

But anxious to see the game. I think it'll be 10 points or less either way.

I watched them vs Delphos. They are the favorite but I don’t see them blowing anybody out.Kirtland80 wrote: Sat Nov 07, 2020 10:21 pm Not sure about this game but it would surprise me if CW doesn’t have that title in the trophy case already
FF has as a good of shot as any to go win this thing. They play good defense. They run the ball extremely well. They are fundamentally sound in all aspects. And people that know football know FF is no joke.....

Springfield rotates a ton of guys in and out but there is no doubt in my mind Cadets will have a better OL and DL.

Springfield and Trimble played a classic last year, Brunguard is a stud and only a junior, pretty sure they returned a lot from that team

They actually only returned Qb and 2 kids that touched the ball.Happy McGavin wrote: Mon Nov 09, 2020 11:19 am Springfield and Trimble played a classic last year, Brunguard is a stud and only a junior, pretty sure they returned a lot from that team

Springfield plays a ton of kids on defense they rotate a lot. Fort has size advantage on the lines. They have a few big boys including Beau brother Brady #50

I really honestly believe Cadets have an advantage on offensive and defensive side of the ball.

Re: D6 Final 4: New Middletown Springfield (10-0) vs Fort Frye (10-0)
Norwayne squib kicked EVERY kickoff 10-25 yards last week and Springfield started every possession between their own 42 and 48 yd. line except one and it was from the 35. That is a death knell against any good team giving them a short field every possession. I've never seen a team do that for a whole game @ any level. The Coach must have 0 confidence in his special teams ability to kick it deep and make a play.

Wow that was dumb. No wonder Springfield got back into the game when Norwayne was dominating the Springfield defenseFANOSPORTS wrote: Mon Nov 09, 2020 3:59 pm Norwayne squib kicked EVERY kickoff 10-25 yards last week and Springfield started every possession between their own 42 and 48 yd. line except one and it was from the 35. LT Casey Brooker had 10 pancakes vs Fairland. This might be the best line ever at Fort Frye.
