Big win for the Ironmen. Still early in the season, but a very needed win to kind of righten the ship somewhat.

Crazy WCH loses at home to D4 Fairfield, barely beats a bad McClain team in OT…but then destroys the best team they’ve faced.BallDontLie wrote: Sat Dec 17, 2022 8:44 pm Washington Court House 54

LeMaster as strong and big as Guthrie but a better athlete…I’d guess he guards him. Then it’s up to the MT guards vs MT guards and if Guthrie doesn’t get his underneath it doesn’t free up MT on perimeter (which they struggled huge at Chillicothe but were 9/17 at Jackson.

Great athlete. WCH is loaded with talent…this looks like the first time breaking it out. They are a district title contender if they play to their potential.

Agreed. This Chesapeake team looks like a group that Ater takes and grinds out 10-12 wins and somehow end up at the Convo. Slows it down on offensive end and gets after it on defensive end. Nothing flashy...dude can just coach.bbjunky81 wrote: Sat Dec 17, 2022 7:18 pmWhat do you mean? They’re 5-2 and just beat a very pesky/gritty Chesapeake team. They didn’t play great, no, but they found a way to win. Big test coming Tuesday against an undefeated Minford squad.
Remember, Peake went to South Point and knocked them off - and South Point is a top 5 team in SEO. Peake struggles to score at times, but they play super hard and have some guards that can really shoot it and handle the ball. Peake may not win a ton of games, but they’ll be in most games and I guarantee they’ll have a couple more upsets before this season is over.
Webster doing what they should with this schedule. Burg game was one they probably should’ve won, but that won’t be the only team Burg upsets at home this year. Would like to see more production from the Jeeps’ backcourt on the offensive end. It’s still early in the season though and the rotation come tourney time will likely look different than it does now.*

I thought Marietta did a very good job defensively tonight. JG as predicted took a ton of threes, but couldn't get many to fall. Didn't get many open looks thanks to the MHS perimeter defense. Was a very physical game played by both teams, as well. Definitely Marietta's best game so far this season.
Re: Saturday,12/17/22 games and scores
Watched the livestream and Wall didn’t play tonight, he was out sick. And the Haithcock that is a senior, #10, did not play either. So WCH was down 2 starters and wins by 20+…wow.Ironman92 wrote: Sat Dec 17, 2022 9:07 pmHe didn’t even look to score against JacksonBallDontLie wrote: Sat Dec 17, 2022 8:58 pmBearden played very well tonight.
