HC's are CEO's and a big part of being a CEO is being able to put the right personnel in the right places that benefit you.

Burg could use a coach that can do as well because Woodard is OWNED by Trevon Pendleton. Owns him. He is woodards Daddy. Lmao
Pendelton is a great recruiter. That’s what he does extremely well. Again, kudos to him for realizing IHS isn’t winning anything without bringing in a massive amount of talent.

Also, good for him for getting a coach developed by Burg and Woodward. Pendleton obviously can’t lead an offense so he went to Burg to find that person.
No Burg didn't want that coach they ran him off and he went to Ironton and is a great addition to Ironton's Offense and detrimental to Burg's Offense and if Woodward developed that coach as you said then why such a drop off in offense ? Shouldn't Burg's offense still be thriving under Woodward ?
Even without their previous offensive coach because you said Woodward developed him.
Woodward’s style of offense, the spread, is perfect given Ironton’s recruits. They have the skill to make it work.

As for Burg, the spread has not went well against good teams. State title team almost lost to Columbus Academy running the spread; switched to power run to win that game. Also, in 2018, despite having nearly their entire offense back, the team got blown out in the state semifinals due to the spread O being a big flop.

Can go back over the past 10 years and point out games where Burg’s high-flying spread O put up incredible numbers until running into a team with good skill players. Then the O performed terribly. Fortunately Burg’s D bailed them out in many games.

Why does burg look like they skipped preseason conditioning?

That first part is so right. Gotta surround yourself with great like minded people... and then be able to trust them and delegate important jobs.... the second part is just funny... lol

This seasons first D5 playoff rankings came out. Guess who is nowhere to be found?

The land of milk, honey, and "superior coaching & culture" because goose egg high school aka outta shape university aka "homegrown" burg has still NOT been able to beat anybody & here we are entering week 4 a week away from the halfway mark of the regular season. Burg better handle business tomm night or its goose egg and 4 and Prep will then make sure 5 and 5 or worse is reality. Must win situation every week now for slow ball high school. Lmao.

This seasons over boys. Start figuring it out for next season. Pull an oak hill and cancel the prep game, it will be another embarrassment. These kids just don’t have what it takes to play games like this. They are not physically or mentally tuff enough.

That bad karma on burg fans for whining about what Ironton is doing instead of handling their own biz as a program is hitting hard in the land of "superior coaching and culture."
