After watching Ptown last week against West and watching Burg week 1, Burg should do what they want at will(even with backup QB). Portsmouth oline was horrible letting 2-3 people in the backfield each play. Ptown defense can't tackle, West would be hit for no gain just to get 5 or more yards after contact. Burg has owned the line od scrimmage and should this week. With the talent Ptown has it should be a good game, but after watching them it shouldn't be.

I think I have disagree that SP is best 0-2 team in the area.. I'd have to go with Piketon IMO.. But burg by 10 or 14 in this one is realistic..

Burg is DIV. V, Region 19.

Burg will need to continue with the strong defensive effort. They have that bend but don't break attitude. Portsmouth will come in hungry after getting whipped by West like they did, so Burg will need to be ready. This game has gone down to the wire the last 2 years with the two splitting with each other. Burg had last years game won, but like they say, it isn't over until the fat lady sings and she had just started to hum and Ptown took advantage of a Burg turnover.

Sad thing about this game is that it has lost a lot of its luster over the years. This used to be THE GAME of the year. For some reason it has lost that status.

Good luck Pirates this Friday. Bring home win number 3 on the season.

pivital game for PHS ---do they right the ship and play good football ? I think they can play pretty decent and still lose this game by 7-14 points. They play like they did last week and the result will be about the same --- not only does portsmouth look like they need a different scheme or approach from the coaching staff I sense that emotionally this team is just not there , like they don't know for sure their identity as a team. or maybe there is no strong leader ?? I thought they looked bad in week 1.
