Looking at Crestview's schedule, I'm not all that impressed. I have no dog in this fight, just a fan of "weak SEO teams that play on cow pastures"

For someone that has been to every single Crestview game i can honestly say that every Valley fan will be surprised at the outcome of this game! With a running back that broke all the rushing yard record at the school, and becoming the first player in the county to surpass 5,000 rushing yards in his career, i believe we have someone they will not be able to touch! And as for your comments about the Crestview fan's i am offended. Our fans come out each and every week with full hearts and support for our teams and that is what reflects in our players because they come out will full hearts and they DON'T let their team mates, their coaches, or their fans down. After watching Valley's game, i see MAJOR holes in both their offensive and defensive line, which will just adds to our ability to beat their team!

Crestview is playing 3 miles from where they played last week in Grandview. They should have just checked into a hotel, gone to the OSU-Indiana game saturday, hit the town saturday night, been allowed to skip school all week , practice during the week at Grandview's field which is close to OSU, be fed and given an allowance for entertainment during the week leading up to gametime @ UA next friday. Wouldn't that be great if high school kids could have these benefits at playoff time since the OHSAA is making a killing off these playoffs anyway. Just kidding for the most part but it sure isn't the schools that make the money and I feel sorry for the parents & fans of some of these schools that win because you have to turn around the next week and travel 100-150 miles again just to play regional games (let alone if you make it to a state semi or final) in a lot of areas and the OHSAA wonders why they're losing attendance over the years.

Gosh, when games are being played this far away I wish I'd went north for college instead of south! I know a few guys who go to OSU and I'm pretty sure they'll just stay there and take the few minute drive to the game. Unlike me who will drive home from college for about an hour and a half, then drive to UA for about the same amount of time, maybe more.

I'm excited to see the stadium actually, from the pics it looks very nice. Excited for the game as well! not so excited for the drive, but you'd better bet that I'll be there for this one!

Nice place to watch a game. It's been overhauled and expanded to look modern in the last few years but it still has the feel of an "old time stadium" (other than the aluminum) as it sits right in the middle of town with residential streets on each side with houses staring at you.

Yep, much like I posted on the West-Wynford game @ Reynoldsburg. A lot of these places have nice fields and turf anymore but no parking. Most of UA is on street parking if you don't get there early. The bad part is the UA is right in the OSU area and Rt. 315 on a friday night @ rush hour. Good luck !!!!!

Ill be taking I-70 to 270N, get off on Fishinger BLVD/RD take it all the way to NW BLVD and it takes me right to the field. Looks like it may be easier for me, no rt 315.

Yep, "old money" get's these games in places like Upper Arlington. The residents there pay some of the highest taxes for some of the most expensive property in the state of ohio so they've got to do something to make more money for the "excellent with distinction" schools such as this.

Yep, if you're coming from 70W that'd be the way to do it because once you exit on to 270N it's not far at all up on the right where you turn off. :-D

Went to a game at UA last season. We had to park on one of the neighborhood streets, but it really wasn't bad. Just walked a couple blocks to the stadium. It was the Davidson/Pick Central game, so obviously there was a huge crowd for that one.

Anyway, I liked the stadium a lot. Good place to watch a game.

At first glance, I'm not overly impressed with that video of Crestview. It's not fair to that team for me to form an opinion of them on a single 9 minute video of them, so I'll save my overall judgement for Friday night. I did think that #21 looked like he could be a load to bring down and #84 appeared to be their go-to guy in the passing game. The video didn't show much of the QB checking down or pulling it down and running on pass plays. It appeared, in that short video, as if the offense was pretty cut and dry. I'm sure there's a lot more to them and as mentioned by someone else, they're obviously doing something right to be 11-0 at this point. I'm not going to knock their schedule, because if memory serves me right, St Paul (who they were playing in the video) has a recent D-6 State Title.

Depending on how much of that video is typical of their team, I think we do some things offensively that can be pretty successful. Likewise, I think our defense is capable of holding their own. I know that I really like our chances and I'm confident that our kids will show up Friday, ready to play.

Let's GO PURPLE!!!!!!

i have seen another video on scoutingohio.com of #43 Mason Minnich. He looks like a very good RB.

This should be a good game. Valley will be the only team from SEO I pick to win this week-end. Probably a 2 TD favorite. However , turnovers could make it closer. And don't get anyone injured. Crestview aint bad.

Would appear that Valley will end up being the only SEO team to play for a Regional Championship.
