I'll say this about the whole parking fee issue. The money is split between the sport and the Athletic Department. You cannot charge for playoff games unless you charge all season long. OHSAA rule. When you host a playoff game, OHSAA takes all the money from the gate, so to make hosting profitable, you get concessions and parking. The parking was one of the innovations Mr. Kight introduced to help offset what was a rather large deficit in our athletic budget.

I guess he could have spared you $2 and charged the kids to play. Many area schools are going the pay to play route to cover expenses left by the funding cuts. We have made a committment at Jackson to work to avoid pay to play. All sports programs have taken cuts and searched for innovative ways to increase revenue. We feel it is what we should do for the kids.

I went to Zanesville to watch my son play basketball a few years ago. They charged $6 for parking, $6 for admission and had 85% of the bleacher space reserved. All but about 5 rows directly behind the team and some bleachers under one of the baskets. I paid $12 to sit in a bad spot where my view was obstructed. $7 dollars for parking and plenty of premium seating for a football game seems quite the bargain.

If its really an issue, Tobias, in a couple of years when you come back, call me, I'll pay your $2.

Better leave your number...he'll call. But again, he probably didn't even pay and in two years he'll take your money and still get on here and complain about it....even though no one else has in the past 2 years. He's also going to need $2 in the winter for basketball season. He can use it for popcorn and some peanut M&Ms.

Paying to park is a normal issue in Pa. Jackson must be the only program in the SEOAL that charges for parking?

You go watch those teams and don't pay eh?

Use those abilities and not pay at Jackson.

It cost $6 dollars to get in the gate at Warren but parking was free. I had five people in my car so I would have saved $3 bucks if the game would have been at Jackson!

Jackson must be allowing a playoff game in their stadium to require a parking fee. Fine by me
