I mean you've made it completely obvious that Logan "dominates SEO", so obviously you have no competition on your current schedule. SO how are you going to manage to get any better so you can FINALLY have some playoff success? What's the future plan for this football dynasty to grow? I guess I could compare you to the Buckeyes. They play in the doo-doo Big 10 and that schedule never gets them ready for a BCS bowl game. So I guess all of us Buckeye fans should just be content winning the conference and not worry about getting spanked in the post season...I mean, it works for Logan fans. ;-)

Do we care? Yes Are we content? No Do we have a choice? No...we can't go to Kentucky to play.

Carmen -

Apparently you are new to all this. Either that or you haven't been paying attention.

Since 2002, Logan HAS made concerted effort to improve their program. It started with upgrading the schedule and has continued with changing the offseason schedule and increasing the turn out.

In 2003, Logan got rid of Nelsonville-York and New Lexington for Westerville South, Chillicothe, and DeSales. In '04 they went with Lancaster, Chillicothe, and Gahanna-Lincoln.

Since then, the schedule has remained challenging at all the high schools levels. And the results are apparent when you look at all 3 high school levels. 5 years ago we couldn't play with Lancaster at the Freshman level. Now the games are competitive. 5 years ago we couldn't stay on the field with Lancaster's JVs, this fall they couldn't stay on the field with us.

So to answer your question Logan's program isn't "settling." It's getting better. There is NO way to guarentee playoff wins.

Heck, even mighty Ironton hasn't been passed the 2nd round in almost 5 years.

Want to know what polls are? Polls. They mean nothing.

Logan is #4 and will be bounced in the first two weeks. Ironton will soon be unranked but will not be bounced in the first two weeks.

Ironton will be bounced as soon as they play a team

A. that is any good.
B. that is outside of the Seops forum area.

Please Ironton has not won a Championship of ANY kind in the 2000's. It i sposters like you who apparently love to be reminded of how far the Ironton program has fallen. You are reminded often just by looking at the scoreboard. Just think after this week your current losing streak will be 2.
