NY Buckeyes by 7. Good game, but think the Bucks will bounce back. They have been in big games before. They didn't get the reputation of the winner's they are by rolling over after a big defeat. Good luck to both teams, hope for no injuries for either team. Go Bucks :-D

i think if athens played logan in week 11, they would come out with a moral victory, by which i mean they would lose 21-7.

 HA! Logan 42-7, but it aint gonna happen cause Nelsontucky takes this one in a real barn burner 42-35.

If NY can improve in their special teams, they can win this game. The NY D played better than you think. They gave up 1 drive all game ( 7 points). They muffed a punt and had one block.(14 POINTS). The small NY O-Line just couldnt do a thing in that mud pit of a field!

GO BUCKS! NY 21- A-14

athens has really good special teams, and a strong enough defense to keep arnold relatively contained. it will be a good game, i say athens 28 nelsonville 14, but the game will be 14-14 going into the last 8 minutes of the 4th

I guess it is good for we Athens folk that we could really care less about what you clowns think. We dont need you to feel good in order to feel good ourselves. Get lost if you dont have something to say about the game.

I would really like to see Nelsonville win this game however I think that Athens will take it 35-14.

I'm hoping NY can pull it out, but I think Athens has too much this year. I've seen their field get messy late in the year before as well, so I expect it might be similar to Alexander's field last Friday night. The Bucks are small, but fast, and the conditions make that much less of a factor, and favors size up front, which we don't have. We all saw how that worked out last week. :) That's not an excuse, just the dynamics of the game, and we didn't have an answer and Alex did, and kicked our tails.

Go Bucks!!

If Athens wins, I'll root for them in weeks 9-10, and hope for a Logan/A-town showdown.

Oh my! No playoffs, No league title, finishing at a dismal 7-3. I know its been a long time for them but I think they can bounce back. After all they have 5 sophomores starting just a few seniors. I think they may survive. The season isnt over yet and I think they will keep battling and those young players will be back next year.
I read on here that Athens may dominate for years to come. I think they may be in a little trouble I also see they lose 9 starting seniors on each side of the ball. That will be tough to replace. They better get it done this year. They have so far. If A-town thinks it will be a walk in the park they will lose! Should be a great game.

As an long time TVC fan I would like to see NY beat the new kids in town.
I also know the history between A town and NY, BUT this is a different Athens
team . NOT TOO GOOD FOR THE NY BUNCH>>>>>>>>

Athens rolls by 3TD's

I do believe that for Athens to play Logan they would have to finish 7th not 8th. It looks like Louisville will win out. If that is the case Logan may not have enough to pull ahead. I may be mistaken but wasn't Louisville the Champs last year and were pre-season pick this year. I am not sure here maybe off base, don't know. But it would be a good end to the season. Have friends in both places so I will refrain from any guess and wish both luck friday night.
