Eastern couldn't hit a free throw or a field goal in the second half. It was pretty frigid on the Eastern bench the whole 2nd half. As hot as they were in the 1st half, that is how cold they were in the 2nd. Coach Kiser had the PERFECT game plan to beat the Lady Oaks, but poor shooting and some untimely poor passes made the difference in the 2nd. Great season by Coach Kiser and the Lady Warriors. You made the SHL proud tonight with your effort!!!

First time seeing Oak Hill this year. Did they play bad ? Win and move on is the name of the game, I could not handle watching the second game, had to leave, maybe the worst District Semi game ever. Oak Hill will have no problem with Adena.

Not to be too picky but Oak Hill had only given up 5 in the second half until 30 seconds left when they got 5 more off of the 3 by 31 and a layup in the last 10 seconds. Again not to be picky just thought it was an amazing stat and a great accomplisment by the Lady Oaks and their coaching staff. After just giving up 30 points in a half and giving Eastern Brown confidence going in at halftime to shut them down like they did was unbelievable.

Congratulations to the Lady Oaks from just down the road and over here in rhe TVC. From the thread it sounds like everybody had an exciting first half. Eastern Brown, you may have had to fight the big dog early in the tourney, congrats on your hard work and readiness for the game.

Wishing the very best fortune to the Lady Oaks in your tourney run!

Hats off to Eastern Brown, they played a heck of a game. Lady Oaks survived and advanced. Get ready for the Convo.

Great changes made at halftime by coach Hale. Unless Shayla Black (Eastern Brown) was hurt or sick I was shocked that she did not see the court in the 2nd half until late in the 4th period (around 2:00 to play). She had 11 points in the 1st half, 9 by way of 3 pointers. She was one of the main reasons Eastern had a 1 point lead at the break.

I know the mark of a champion is being able to win when you don't play well but the lady Oaks didn't look very good last night. They may not face anyone who can challenge them until the regional final but they better be playing better ball by then if they expect to bring home a State title.

Strite was on fire as she drained 4 threes to lead the lady Oaks with 12.
Taylor Hale added 11, one 3, a deuce and 6 FT's.
Puckett chiped in 8, Karissa Adkins 7, Caudill 6, Butler 5, Burton 2.
The lady Oaks were 18-21 from the line

Shayla black lead the lady Warriors with 11 (all 1st half - didn't play 2nd half until late in the 4th)
Mullins added 10, Scott chipped in 5, Prine and Burns with 4 each, Rickey and Mallot with 3 a piece.
The lady Warriors were 6-16 from the line and missed 7 in the 2nd half (6 in the 4th).

What a tough draw for a district semi- game...

Hats off to eastern brown and their coaching staff. They had a great gameplan, and their size was a tough match-up for oak hill. Oak Hill is much better in the up tempo style game then working out of a half court offense, and eastern brown was able to slow the game down to their pace most of the time.

This game will help oak hill in the long run. They needed a close game and a game where they came from behind, and to be put in certain situations and find a way to win. They did that. Although it was sloppy with way too many careless turnovers.

On to the convo...

You summed the game up pretty well. I haven't seen the Lady Oaks play so out-of-sync in quite some time. There was a lot of sloppy ball handling and the turnovers were the most I have seen since Dec. 13, 2008, at the Convo in the Hoops Classic against Waterford. I, too, think they need to play much better to take the state title this year. Not too late to make some adjustments! Good luck, Ladies, from one of your biggest fans!

Congratulations to the Lady Oaks on the win. Also want to congratulate Eastern Brown on a fine season and for their effort in the game last evening. I thought they represented the SHL very well. Free throw shooting seemed to be the difference. Oak Hill was extremely good from the line and Eastern didn't shoot them very well. Great game between 2 fine ball teams and 2 excellent coaches.

Is OAk Hill the only team in Ohio history to have transfers come to "there" school????? You people kill me with this. Let me school ya all......

As defined by Mr Webster:

Recruit: –verb- to engage in finding and attracting employees, new members, students, athletes, etc.

I have lived in OAk Hill my entire life, and know for a fact we do not have a:

As defined by Mr Potter:

Recruiter: -noun- Someone who goes out and actively seeks players from local schools for the sole purpose of listening (well actually reading) to adults (used very loosely) cry and whine about a GROUP OF TEENAGE GIRLS WHO PLAY A SPORT THEY LOVE!

Grow up folks. Remember these are kids you're running you mouths (actually fingers) about. Let them play and enjoy "there" lives. High School is supposed to be the best time of your life. Maybe yours sucked........ Dont make theirs.

I just ask a question and I said nothing about you girls why would you get mad when somebody just ask a question

I just give answer. I not get mad. And you did say something about my girls. And feel free to ask stupid questions anytime you want. Dont whine in your poor grammar when you get an answer.
