wow buckeye , thanks for the picture show. I had no idea what all was involved in one of these installs.
wonder if they'll get new goal posts, I hope so.
I have no idea how long those have been there, unless they're keeping them for historical reasons.

bait, ol Leo has been doing a little sniffing around and what I am hearing is the old goal posts are going on the practice field and we will have something new to put on that new carpet.........

The excavation, drainage and below ground work is quite extensive. I watched the Burg turf installation closely when it was being installed and I believe once they got ready to actually lay the turf, it was about 2 weeks from the first piece of turf being installed before completion. If the completion date is expected to be Aug. 1, I wouldn't expect to see any turf laid in place until the 2nd week of July at the earliest.

According to the high school website, Motz Group from Cincinnati. They installed Ohio State's turf.

Sharp! Love the different color green every 5 yards. Solid colored end zones, thick boundary lines, orange coaching boxes and the tiger at the 50. Very cool! The real thing will even look better than this example drawing when they are finished.

I don't particularly object to having a tiger head, but I don't like that tiger head. I've been told it will look better on the field than it does in the artist's rendering. I hope so.

As I was going by the field this morning it looked like the turf was arriving. The field looks like it is ready for the turf to be laid. This is going to be really nice. You guys with the cameras get ready to shoot a few pics.
