This win clinched the Dll SHAC title for Peebles. This is perhaps Coach Areys best coaching year to date. Picked to be 4th in division early. Great job team.

Why couldn't they do that against Warren? I guess VC got the brunt of that Shutdown.Bronc21 wrote: Tue Feb 06, 2018 9:17 pm Chillicothe 76 - Vinton County 60. Maughmer brothers combine for 51 points

Some real interesting scores tonight. Burg and Notre Dame wins were surprising (Burg more by the amount, not that they actually won). Also didn't expect the New Boston loss...figured West would play with them, but thought NB would get it done.*

Shouldn’t really. OH had no one to matchup with Holden tonight and Lowery played a monster game. Burg can play with anyone around here when they play like they did tonight. Defense was lights out for Burg. Oaks didn’t get a lot of open three looks.

C’mon....no one is greatly shocked that Burg won at home but to dominate and win by 22? It’s not like these teams haven’t played....OH won easily last matchup.yabbadabbadoo wrote: Tue Feb 06, 2018 10:25 pmbbjunky81 wrote: Tue Feb 06, 2018 8:36 pm That Burg score really surprises me. The margin is shocking, plain and simple

Why, because the Oaks were ranked 7th in DIII? The AP is and has always been a joke. Norm gets votes just because he is Norm.
Yeah and I was shocked when I heard the margin of victory for the Oaks the first time around. This Burg team has the potential to be very good. Burg has shooters in Lowery and Salyers. Truitt is a banger and can drop 20 on any given night and when Holden turns it up a knotch he is hard to stop. He fouled out the two players that mainly guarded him tonight.
OH lives and dies by the three and tonight they weren’t hitting. Chalk that up to some tough defense. Burg held Hale to I believe zero points tonight this after he dropped 20+ in the first meeting.

North Adams over Manchester 61-53. 2 point game with 35 seconds to go.

Based off OH losing 1 game all season in part to a 30 foot bank shot going in and having defeated Burg to a pulp earlier and having fans go crazy about Burg and their coach and their offense. I’m glad you greatly believe in your boys and they proved your thoughts right, but there isn’t a single person on here that would’ve guessed Burg winning by half that margin.
Burg making a 44 point turnaround against anyone is shocking, let alone a team like OH.
Great win, Burg has everyone’s attention now
