Agree with a lot of this. JM’s first four TD “drives” all started in Warren territory. One sequence, JM had a nice drive but the Warren D held on the 4th down at the 15. Two plays later, a fumble gave it right back and the defense is on its heels again. JM played with a short field and that seemed to be the big difference. Tough night for the offense; I think weather affected Warren more than JM too. JM came in with a good plan, executed well, and got a few more bounces.
Still, it was a fun season and there’s something like 16 seniors-to-be to maybe christen new turf next year. Hopefully more kids will come out and put in the offseason time to surprise some more people next year.
