I think Piketon is just gonna keep getting better. They put a beating on Trimble and have a legit POY candidate in Chandler. Should be fun coming down the stretch but a LONG way to go.

Adena is really good. They defend well and are full of athletes and have a solid go to scorer in Bennett and with Sykes playing the way he is they’re not gonna lose many games this year.

Watching online it really looked like Adena was flat. Unioto came out with a lot more energy. Adena will find its groove, they have to much talent and experience not to.

The knew Unioto with Little & company was going to be good but they are much better than I gave them credit for. The addition of The Galloway kid has been the biggest difference. I watch this kid last year in junior high and he was very good but very raw. I figured at least a year way from playing big Varisty minutes. I was wrong! I don’t care for his on court antics but again he is a freshman. Im sure Hoops will get him reeled in.

He’s been the X factor so far and I agree. I had no idea after watching him last year he’d have this type of impact. Imagine if we had the summer. I’m sure he will get reeled in some. I kinda like the edge he plays with but some of the stuff needs to go for sure. The technical foul they called was a little weak IMO but what are ya gonna do

Our coaches do a wonderful job getting the entire team to buy into the whole defensive mindset thing. That’s not always easy to do with high school kids.

What’s everyone’s thoughts coming down the stretch. League is shaping up sort of how I thought. The 2 biggest surprise for me this season.

Bad surprise is SE. I thought they’d be better. I now they e been fighting covid this season so I get it. I still think this team is gonna be a tough out for a higher seed come tourney time.

Good surprise is ZT. I thought they were a year away and I still do but they have been very competitive with the top teams in the league. There gonna be a force next season.

Zane Trace is more competitive than I thought and Piketon is a touch better than I thought they would be.

I honestly thought Piketon would be better than they are. They have the talent and coaching to beat the top teams but they just can’t get over that hump. Winning is a formed habit.

Another stumper for me is PV. With the talent they have they got no business being as bad as they are. I’m concerned there might be some internal issues going on. Not insinuating at all just can’t wrap my head around some of their scores this year.
