Re: Week Six: Wheelersburg at Minford
Except they didn't lose and the person on the clock is horrible. They consistently ran off 2 to 4 seconds after almost every play was whistled dead and even ran off 7 while 74 was cramping. Just think how much time Minford may have had on their last drive had they not did that. He even did on your last possession on the pass. He ran off 2.5 seconds while they were spotting the ball. I watched it on YouTube and it was so obvious it was almost comical.Prime Time wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 8:49 pm Blaming the timekeeper for losing, that is the biggest excuse for losing ever. lol. Oh we got beat by the timekeeper, one of all time best excuses.
Great win the Pirates. Showed great resilience tonight in a hostile environment on the road.

Did not expect this result at all very competitive it seems
A Kicker of various balls. Trust The Process
Re: Week Six: Wheelersburg at Minford
Been a little critical of state of Minford's program last few years, but tonight it seemed like community was engaged and game plan fairly organized by the staff (other than not putting a spy on QB on Burg's last drive). Great game and sensed a heartbeat still alive in the Falcon's program. Good to see! Glad Burg won but rooting for Minford to get things on track and somehow restore the constant discord between coaching staff and fans.

Give him a little slack, it’s his first year.yabbadabbadoo wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 8:40 pm Minford’s timekeeper is horrible!! He pays no attention to the refs in stopping the clock.

Don't worry about Yabba. He never played football. Just a Burg band member.falcon1 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 11:12 pmGive him a little slack, it’s his first year.yabbadabbadoo wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 8:40 pm Minford’s timekeeper is horrible!! He pays no attention to the refs in stopping the clock.

I think this was pretty accurate.

I find these posts amazing. It’s like saying we give no credit to minford. Because burg struggled against minford at minford. Instead of saying wow minford played great and burg beat a good minford team, it’s well burg isn’t any good and would get demolished by ironton. SMH. No wonder minford is the way they are.Bleeding Red wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 11:11 pmAnd you think you guys would beat Ironton in a rematch

What was your ironton-fairland prediction? Were you close on that one?Giorgio Tsoukalous wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 11:25 pmGiorgio Tsoukalous wrote: ↑Sun Sep 19, 2021 10:47 pm I'll go with Pirates, but won't be surprised if Minford wins.

I picked col.south by 7. It was a tight game so I wasn't off by much.wobycat wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 11:29 pmWhat was your ironton-fairland prediction? My mistake, I see you were asking about ironton/Fairland. I don't think I gave a prediction on that game, but I would've been way off. I probably would've picked Ironton by 4 touchdowns.Giorgio Tsoukalous wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 11:31 pmI picked col.south by 7. It was a tight game so I wasn't off by much.

You have to overlook a douche bag like bleeding red!! He’s so ate up with Burg envy and plus he did play football for Minford. Probably took 4 years of azz beatings from the Burg during his time on the team, because being the superstar he acts like he is he probably started as a Freshman!!
There you go with the band reference again! If that’s the best you can come up with son, you probably should change your name to beat a dead horse red!!!

You act like that bothers me!! I’m darn proud to say I played 4 years in Bob McCoy’s band!! Back then, bands were huge, loud and garnered a lot of attention. Plus I got an end zone seat for 4 years of Burg kicking the dog sh*t out of Minford!!!

YOU claimed Burg was one of the top 4 programs in SE Ohio.yabbadabbadoo wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 11:40 pmwobycat wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 11:28 pmI find these posts amazing. YOU claimed Burg had one of the best defenses in SE Ohio.
YOU claimed that you would beat Ironton in a rematch.
YOU said "have fun with the Falcon azz whipings"
24-20 against a lowly Minford team is an escape. Not an azz whiping.
You're a dido and you have no clue about football. Case and Pont.

Minford is improved and Burg is not as advertised. Plain and simple.

I hope you play Ironton in the playoffs. I'll be there watching the Tigers destroy you again.
This game with Minford should have never been close if Bueg was what your thought they were.
FYI- Burg isn't.
