Yes , both teams had opportunities but the big difference is the coaching adjustments. Teams are very even talent wise, can’t believe Trimble got out coached

Easily our coached. They outcoached themselves. One team made adjustments at half the other was content to do what we did the first half. No passing the ball until 1min left when everyone in the stadium knows you have to pass

Watched most of it on youtube and it looked like Trimble defense was double cover and that kid still caught the ball. No much coaching there just better athlete. Trimble offense did go cold but big pentalitys will stall a running offense usually. Big false start there with 2 minute left too.

But really you Sounds like a arm chair coach. And You sound local my advice if you know so much more than get involved. My guess your an 30+ year old man with a beer gut usually how it goes

That broadcast was really nice to watch though pretty cool for high school football. Wish southeast had something like that, girdiron glories should take some notes.

This was a very fun game to watch had a little bit of everything. Big plays, lot of scoring then followed up with some defensive stands, (penalties ), and a big play to win the game. The winner was going to be a sacrificial lamb to nwark catholics but was a really good high school football game. Don’t agree with some posters neither team really changed anything it seemed. Howard kept throwing it up to 11 and Trimble kept running the ball until they had to do different and without that false start they would have not had to throw it anyways. Good game both teams
