I didn’t say they did, but they have 57 times, tied 8. The last time being in 2018 when Ironton blew a massive halftime lead that win ultimately got Portsmouth into the playoffs for the first time in 11 years.
Having to backtrack 6 years for even a glimmer of sunshine but still yappin is WILD WORK portsmouth. 👈🤡😂😂
Very happy with the program actually. Don’t have to go out and take kids from other schools to be relevant. That was clear from coach P’s first year there. Ironton talent alone wasn’t enough. Speaking of backtracking, let me go find one of those post when you puffed up that little kitty chest and talked about that championship 35 years ago. At the end of the day Ironton is living in the past, Portsmouth, Burg & the rest of the OVC rent free in your head. Need to be more concerned with getting past HP. That said I won’t entertain you anymore because this thread has been hijacked, typical from an Ironton poster though. However I apologize for my back and forth to the rest of you. But kittyblooddouble0 I’m flattered honestly, I miss your old username though :(
The only thing you don't entertain in portsmouth is winning, quack quack. Lmao

No. No they're not. 😂

This post will be the most exciting thing about the ovc all season. lol

Well since you were told obviously you weren't there but curious as to what Portsmouth would've been celebrating?? They didn't win and I doubt they ran for an hour afterwards either, seen Ironton in the 7-7s they push past the rules really do those things in a real game you get penalties. Pass interference against a WR is a first down and 15 yard penalty, not start the downs over and the ball doesn't move like their rules in 7-7 so when they get beat they grab guys shirts/jerseys. I wasn't there for what happened against Portsmouth so I won't speak on that but I have seen Ironton in their 7-7 mode and defensively they're not playing within the rules of a actual game by any stretch of the imagination. What I thought was extremely strange was how this team was that can walk on water had to stoop to that type of play, guess it's just the kids though and not the coaching. I found that to be VERY interesting, props to Portsmouth for not backing down and my guess is Portsmouth will be the team that can't wait for week 10

Biggest buncha pom pommin. Nice glaze job "goose." 😂
No idea what you're talking dude, they finally let you back on here??  Truth hurts I know

"I wasnt there for what happened" but here is my cosign and some of my own narrative too. Lmao

Moppin down portsmouth only gets ya two things goose butter. Bruised knees and frayed pom pom ends. It aint gonna make burg suddenly better than 1 - 9 vs Ironton jackson and prep combined over the last 3 seasons.

The program in question is but a season removed from being so dysfunctional it ran its best offensive player into the arms of its scioto county DADDY burg. Lmao

Yeah pretty easy to cosign to something when I've seen Ironton play in 7-7, seems like a very simple thing to understand but your mind doesn't figure things out very easily. Gotta walk you through things step by step I guess, WOW. Yet in the most recent season Ironton was at home watching Burg play,

Rarely. This ain't Valley week 😂
Speaking of Valley, I heard they held their own against the Tigers!
Went 2-2 in pool play but then the following Tuesday against Beaver Eastern got beat pretty bad.

Why everytime I talk to somebody back home in that area ya'll always steady "hearin" a lot about something & just run with it? Don't never have anything to show ya about what ya talking. Just a lotta rumor & gossip and yap. Goose Butter dont need to support anything. He has what he heard & his anti Ironton/Pendleton/ ambition/ bias. It's all green lights. 😂

Hmm. 2 - 2. "held their own."

The Ironton defender and him collided you can call it a tackle if you want to, but it wasn’t really that…. Then the Portsmouth player through the ball at the the Ironton defenders helmet, which caused that young man to get in the Portsmouth players face. Then some shoving occurred and all hell broke loose.

Also Portsmouth wasn’t “driving” down the field. It was 2nd down and they hadn’t even made it to the “first down” mark yet.

Ironton did run after the 7v7 and there was some taunting and laughing coming from their players toward the Ironton ones while they were running on the field.

I can’t say if they ran for an hour, it did take me about 20mins to exit the stadium and they were running the whole time.
Well you left out the same occurred when Terry scored on Ironton’s previous possession. He too was “touched” cutting across the field. You also conveniently failed to mention the Ironton DB (pretty sure it was 24) as Cam Williams ran passed reached out and pushed him in the back of the helmet causing him to fall forward and our entire sideline, fans included began hollering at the ref to throw the flag.
Also, the ball was on the 35 and the receiver was TACKLED, by the helmet, after making the catch at the 26-25 yard, so I’m pretty sure that is considered “driving” down the field. The ball was thrown at the Ironton DB who tackled the receiver, and he swung at the receiver, which started the fight. If you’re going to narrate, please tell the whole story. There’s actually video footage of the entire last possession, as proof.

Just curious, but why was Ironton involved in a OVC 7 on 7?
I didn’t think they were in the OVC starting this year.

There was nothing posted by Ironton Football claiming any of the stuff you said. I just looked. Friends of mine said Ironton JV played all the pool play games against CG, Peake, Rock Hill and Fairland and won. Then the Varsity played the tournament.
The Ironton Fighting Tigers Facebook page posted by the Admin:

Congratulations to Ironton JV football team who won the first four games at the OVC 7 vs 7 Varsity Tournament last night at Chesapeake!! Varsity players from Ironton played and won the last 2 games. Great Job Tigers!!

Comment section:: JV played/won the first 4 games against CG, RH, Fairland, Peake and varsity played/won the last 2 games against RH and Portsmouth

Now am I misreading that somehow?? Because the way that reads and that is 100% copied from The Ironton FIghting Tigers Facebook page that's how I read it, if you can clarify sounds good maybe I'm misunderstanding it somehow.
That is on a fan page not the Ironton Football page

The refs let these games get out of hand. The rock hill and south point game was ridiculous. They were legit taking cheap shots at each other and the refs never said a word or warned anyone. RH played Ironton after they beat SP and it carried over to that game. The trash talk and taunting continued even in the Championship game with Ironton and Portsmouth. Portsmouth started the fight with Ironton by throwing the ball at a player after a catch. Some shoving occurred and then everyone was trying to break it up. The announcer then said this game is over with under a minute to go. The end

The throwing the ball at the Ironton player would be a potential ejection that should occur week one for the portsmouth player.

Judging by how unaware most people are in seo to the world outside of seo, if the refs were locals, they probably have no idea what they are doing in a 7 on 7 scenario.

Ya know there’s trolls and then there are people who are just plain stupid, and you fall under that stupid category. If that results in a week one ejection then 24 for Ironton should probably see a season long suspension.
