It was a great idea to run the two bond issues at the same time. I think the city and the county pushed each others through. As far as the coaching, you wont win games with one kid.

We all have seen teams that have a player that is far and away the best player on the team, having said that, anyone who seriously talks about a one man team shows a very low football IQ.

Although having read that garbled mass of gibberish might make one wish he were in a vegetative state, I do not believe that mess needed comas; rather, commas may have made it more coherent.

How can one grouch about someone else's errors when he lacks the ability to differentiate between a comma and a coma?

BTW, Some combination of AEP and Midstate Construction constructed the River Valley baseball field and I think at their own expense.

What?????? Consolidation??????

There are only 3 schools in Gallia County 4 if you count OVC. You are telling me that the kids from the southern part of the county i.e. Mercerville, Crown City, and the kids from the northern part of the county i.e. Chesire, Vinton should commute all the way to Centenary. :122248 I don't see that happening, nor do I think it would be a good thing.

Why consolidate ? What is the benefit of that, and also what would they do with the new schools that have already been built? Tear them down like they are planning to do with the old ones, I think it is ashame that the buildings can't be used for something.

who is going to pay for the up keep on the old building you want to save?

as a tax payer and voter, my vote was cast for building two high schools in the county. i believe it was also said/stated the current high schools would be sold/demolished.

that being said, i dont like the idea of voting for one thing and then later somebody changing what i voted for. if the board is smart they will follow the original plan or they could face a lawsuit.

I think I said buildings not building, and I'm just one person and I to am a voter and tax payer and I supported the building of the new schools I was just making a comment that it is ashame that the BUILDINGS can not be used for something. It is the opinion of one person not a board. Now back to the subject of football I would like to wish the REBELS, RAIDERS, and BLUE DEVILS luck in the upcoming season . My heart may belong to one school but I support all the kids it does'nt matter where they go to school, I have family and friends who attends all 3 schools.

Maybe they are keeping the buildings so that they can un-consolidate...
