Maysville has 248 boys - I'm pretty sure that makes them a DII school?

Tough loss for the Blue devils ... Unioto and Fairland lost tonight as well ... kind of takes the sting out of last nights 8-7 loss to Warren by the Bulldogs ...

I think you want to avoid the 4/5 game, because of the District Semi matchup with Sheridan, but I'd think any coach will be relieved to just get out of this sectional alive! With Jackson, Warren, Marietta likely in the bottom half, that's really deep and tough to get out.

McClain enters draw at 7-15. Young team that starts two seniors and four freshmen. Dominant pitcher though in Ryan Case who has ERA below 1.00

Gallipolis 2 Symmes Valley 0
First game in Wooden Bat Tourney
Piketon 4 Ironton 1
Second game of Wooden Bat Tourney
Symmes Valley 1 Ironton 0
Third game of Woodenat Tourney
(Game halted after one inning because of thunder & lighting.)
Coaches agreed to play just 5 innings in consolation game.
If resumed, third game won't start until at least 3:30 p.m.,because of the thunderstorm.

Field still in good shape at Centenary.Nice crowd on hand for the games until the storm hit.

Gallipolis mercy ruuled Piketon 11-1 in five innings to win its Wooden Bat Tournament. Ironton beat Symmes Valley 7-6 in a "tiebreaker" game to cop consolation honors.

Gallipolis now 19-6 on the year. Piketon is 17-7 and Ironton 10-10. Symmes Valley is 9-8 overall.

Definitly shocked Athens (15-4) wasn't awarded the No. 1 seed.

Please continue to post scores ... Because the draw takes place before the season is overwith - the brackets/records will not be accurate ... I will continue to update records so a team/fan can have an actual account of the team they are facing ...

The information, updated records, seeding, brackets are kept here ... http://trivalleyconference.com/Schedules.html
