Waverly beat Oak Hill the first time around and only lost on the Oaks home floor 40-34 on a terrible shooting night. The SOC2 is very competitive this year: West just recently beat Valley, Oak Hill beat Valley last night along with Minford and South Websters wins and I think there is a 4 way tie at the top. Waverly has beaten two at the top, West has beaten one at the top so you could say anyone can win on any given night.
The point is: Eastern can compete with any SOC2 schools, to think otherwise is silly.

I voted Eastern Pike in my top 10. They do something I look for in a team, win consistently. It is hard to rank teams this year because besides the top three Ironton, Warren and Athens not many teams win consistently. Eastern Pike may be D4 but they have taken care of business lately and beat some pretty good bigger schools. If you want people to rank your team higher, win your games! It is that simple if you don't win don't complain about your ranking.

The snow has and is causing cancellations. Even though, voting is open for the next poll. Voting ends 5pm on Monday.

Does Valley have some kids hurt . It's not like them to loose 2 in a row. I know they are very young though. Look for there coach to lite a fire under them from here on out .
