I don't know about backing out of a scrimmage, but I do know that both Portsmouth Clay and Portsmouth Notre Dame have been scheduled for more than a month. They added Oak Hill later.
Notre Dame on the 12th and Oak Hill on the 16th with the OVC preview on the 18th.

Probably the same reason they backed out of playing Warren the first game of the season

Pfloyd......I can tell you that in December you could head up Rt 664 to FU country and catch the Falcons on the 16th vs Logan Elm, the 28th vs Sheridan and the 30th vs Gallia......all at FU. Not a bad slate of games in December!!!

... I'm putting together "possible" destination venues/games for December ... I have highlighted those matchups on all of 4 of those schools game schedules for the dates you pointed out Smeltzy ... I want to see ALL of those teams in my top 20-25 before the 2023 portion of the schedule kicks in ... my top teams I work hard at seeing them at the beginning of the season, middle and end to see the development of the TEAMS ...

Bucketz, I'll need to double check the divisions myself for the teams - as you posted- some have bumped up and/or down ... most are the same but there are that few ie. Lucasville Valley moving to D3 from D4 ... it's raining! - I'll look at it ...

D2 is down though

Way down. If there’s a year to randomly be stuck in D2 for Alexander, it’s this year.

Perhaps so, but the road through the tournament will most likely be tougher. Alexander will be punished for playing in the TVC-Ohio, a D3 league viewed as weak. If your opening game is going to be at (10-12) Warren, then your journey is going to be more difficult than starting at a lets say (12-10) Coal Grove.

My opinion after looking at this.... Adena and Alexander are wayyyyyyyyyyy too high. Alexander has a stud but not much around him. The TVC is down so they'll have a winning record but I can't see them beating many good teams.

I can't see how Adena will be very good. They're still heavily in rebuild mode.

WCH could end up being the #1 team, we shall see.

South Point needs to be near the top 10. They've going to be solid and have a stud player mixed with tons of athletes.

Oak Hill is going to surprise people. They'll be better. I think 12-15 wins is very realistic for them.

Trimble and Waverly will be wayyyyyyyyyyy down.

Wheelersburg has too many athletes to be around #50. They'll have some down games, but their athletes alone will match up with the majority of teams around. They're going to be just fine. I'd imagine the same case can be made for Chillicothe.

Symmes will be an end table team. They're going to struggle badly.

Thanks for YOUR rundown bbjunky81 ! ... South Point is one of those teams that always has athletes, just hard to gauge due to not many if any posters from or for SP ... they have a good path to move up as Fairland, Gallia, Ironton are ALL ranked above them - wins, play on the court talks ... All I try to do with the preseason rankings is give ALL teams a fair starting position - it's up to them to move up or drop in the rankings with their play on the hardwood ... I'm excited to get this season tipped off ...
